While on safari in Tanzania, my husband and I decided to book a balloon ride through Top Climbers Expedition. I was overwhelmed by this balloon flight. To see the serengeti and elegante, hippos, lions, hyenas and so many other animals from above, was fantastic. Also the breakfast was great. Thank you, pilot Moses, for the long and smooth flight.

There is nothing like floating across the Serengeti on an early morning and spying the wildlife from above. Peaceful, serene, bliss, comfort, beauty - they do not even come close to what Mother Nature unfolds before your eyes. Do not miss the chance to do this. Ask for Capt. Moses and have a great flight.

While on safari in Tanzania, my husband and I decided to book a balloon ride with Serengeti Balloon Safaris. We were glad we did!! It was the highlight of our trip! From the pickup in the early morning from our camp, to the balloon ride, champagne toast and the fantastic bush breakfast, every detail was top notch service. Our friendly... More

Excellent experience. My wife and I went on our first hot air balloon ride and it did NOT disappoint. Mr. Vanneste was our pilot and he did a terrific job pointing out multiple animals. It was exciting, fun and waking up in the early AM was worth it. We saw hippos, wildebeests, cheetahs, lions, giraffes and more. The morning temperature... More

This had been on my bucket list for a very long time. Now that I dedided to come to Tanzania I was sure I was going to do it, without a doubt in my mind. The price was $573...but that's not the case. The balloon held 16 passengers (full). We got very high in the balloon about 3 or 4... More

A must do experience while staying in Serengeti! A representative came to our FS hotel the evening before our flight to inform us what to wear and answer any questions we had. We were then picked up by the Serengeti Balloon Safari guide very early in the morning & taken to the balloon were we got to meet the rest... More

I thought long and hard before shelling out over $500 for this but eventually thought that it is a once in a lifetime experience so I went for it. It certainly was a nice experience and I was sorry when it ended but the price way exceeds what it is worth. I guess it depends how much money you have... More

Recommended only at the start of a safari - otherwise you would be disappointed how few animals you'll spot after having opulent game drives the days before. Best thing was the included champagne toast and the champagne breakfast under an Akacia tree - the breakfast offered there was the best one I received in 2 weeks Tanzania. The ballon baskets...
