An unusual floor based water feature/fountain is here beside the old gate to the city that seems to be unchanged for many many years and has a great feeling and beauty to it as well Great photo opportunities here against this lovely backdrop

Great gate to enter The Medina and Souk. Not to be missed. Lots and lots of shopping opportunities. Try to find a guide to escort you around.

Interesting are to discover the local culture, in the market you should check the prices of several shops because you can overpay several times the actual price

This is one of the doors that has a big history and allow you to enter the old souq. Behind it there is a water fountain.

I spent three days in Tunis at Hotel Royal Victoria (former Brit embassy) right on the square at Bab El Bhar gate (sea door). What a riot! Place was teaming with locals and tourists taking selfies and hanging out at base of the medina (city)...More
