I've read a lot about this historical mosque, and the good thing that it still holds many things of what were written about.

Very old (8th century) and beautiful mosque in Tunis Medina. Unfortunatelly the tourist cannot enter inside the mosque, but only could take a look from the interior court.

There are specific times this mosque is open to the non-Muslim public. I visited mid-morning and was told, very politely, to come back at 2pm.
