Good views of the cidade bassa. Don't take photos around here as it is a high security zone. Some nice old buildings.

This part of the city can not be visited completely, the part of the presidential palace it's banned to the visitors, but by the street you can see the parliament building.

It is worth visiting to get a feel of the colonial past of this country, so rocked by tragedy and wars.

Recommended for those you appreciate old portuguese architecture. Its got a lovely church and you can visit the Fort museum. However, due to high security, it is almost impossible to take pictures of the buildings without getting into trouble.

Not much to see until the Fort Museum re-opens. Hard to get to due to military guards because President lives near by. Say you are going to the British Embassy---though they will check that your name is on a list..

We used Eco tur. Luanda is very pricey and NOT tourism friendly. The sites we saw on the city tour- click on my reviews for all the sites seen are not overly thrilling. You can walk along the promenade to the fort... More
