Lovely century old cinema with original features and lots of object d’art. The main theatre is really impressive and worth a look. Make sure you get a macchiato in the stylish, bustling cafe.

Went to a concert here, and the seating was great, the acoustics were great, and it's a beautiful building. Also, coffee and drinks available in the front. Highly recommend it.

Probably one of the better of all old cinemas in Asmara. For me it was a must to check them all out. I hope one day they will all get restored.

There you can buy drinks. Not very invitable. Look from the outside is enough. Easy reachable by foot.

One of many old cinemas from the Art Deco times in Asmara. This particular one was nicely renovate into a cafe. They had kept the old projector - a nice detail and touch.

If you want to experience the golden days of classic cinema, this is the perfect place to do it. Not only the cinema but also the coffee shop are totally worth visiting while you are in Asmara.

Just love this place. The most well-kept and gorgeous cinemas in Asmara. And the cafe on the ground floor is also brilliant. A cup of espresso - this is what I miss already.

We managed to have a look inside but the lights were so low that it was hard to appreciate what is probably a wonderful relic from a more prosperous era.

Restored, you guessed it, by a private person, otherwise it would look like Impero or Asmara Theater, stucco falling down into your macchiato....decent service, regular product.
