Must see together with all the rest of the government buildings. No tours inside allowed so only possible to see it from the outside, also no pictures are allowed directly (there are soldiers stationed at every corner) however is very easy to sneak in a pic with the cellphone. It can be seen better when driving in front of it.... More

Spent several weeks in Gabon. I had the chance to travel all around the city. This site is not worth but a drive-by to say you saw it. If you pull out a camera to take a picture expect to get hassled by whatever law enforcement catches you in the act - there are various levels of enforcement in Gabon.... More

If you only have a short time to play tourist, this is a must see. All the government buildings and ministries should be on your list.

Surrounded by poverty and naked aspiration, this building stands out as grotesque and without taste. Even on its own, its not a particularly beautiful or moving piece of architecture but with its location, it's an overwhelmingly indulgent and insensitive building.
