This Craft Market at the border of the Senegambia is one of many in Gambia and displays a wide variety of hand made local products. A must do at least once whilst in the Gambia. Be prepared to haggle!

I actually went here several years ago but remember it well. Good market for good variety of wood carvings. I even exchanged the T - Shirt I was wearing for a carving when I ran out of Dalasi to pay for it. If you like...More
