Museum contains a very small collection of artifacts. Signage is OK but only in French. Took 10 minutes to get lights turned on. Some interesting statues presumably from colonial days in courtyard. Very friendly staff member helped me visit but must speak French.

not that much to see but also super cheap so I would say if you are in the area you may as well go but I would not recommend going out of your way to see this

Was shown around the museum by Famata. It was small but really interesting with artifacts representing all the different tribal groups in Guinea . Cost 10000francs With a receipt . There is a man doing traditional weaving you can watch .

It's good. I was starting to think Guinea was gonna bore me. . But.. I found their artwork and I think I like their artworks. And the Port.. they also have a lot of fishes.. of different varieties.. so it's really nice.

With so much great art in Guinea, the few artifacts of the museum barely scratch the surface. The museum has plenty of space but most of it is used for storage. A beautiful bronze lion is hidden in a corner near the crafts workshops and...More

What to say....it is Guinea's only museum, and I visited at the height of the ebola epidemic, so the few visitors it may attract normally were not there. The owner/director opened the museum for me, after looking for the keys for a good 30 minutes....More

A good museum which was interesting to visit. It is one of the only museums in town so it is worth visiting if you have time.
