People are very friendly and warm welcoming...I found a big and wide variety of traditional Malagasy things great souvenirs for friends and family, so all in all a great place to visit with friends and family

Great and colorfull experience. You can do all your shopping there. Just be careful with jewelery, cameras, purses etc. like everywhere in Tana.

You'll find everything you could wish for at this market: wood carving, clothes, fossils, petrified wood, minerals, in everyform and size. I spent a couple of hours here. People are very friendly, but remember to bargain :)

The whole city is a huge market . The open air markets are very much a live with a large amount of sellers and buyers . The only weak point in all of these are the pickpockets ! You must be alerted all the time...More
