Whilst everything that has already been said is true (I have now learned that vanilla doesn't, in fact grow on a supermarket shelf!) it is not easy to find the place and when you get there all you see is a "representative" small number of plants in the owners' back garden with the main crop grown in a field "somewhere... More

This is a small family business growing vanilla and some spices and when we we visited there was no change to see round the plants.
