We were in Uganda for 2 weeks for both business and pleasure and Sam made sure we had the most wonderful time. Sam at Muleni Safaris went above and beyond all expectations to make sure we had the best experience. Sam and his crew made all the arrangements, took care of all the logistics and guided us to set up a great itinerary to see some of the amazing places in Uganda while working around our changing schedule. Sam is truly the jack of all trades and he knows his stuff. He is very knowledgeable about all the national parks and where to see the animals. He is also very knowledgeable about the history and the culture of people living in different parts of not only Uganda, but the whole region. We got to see many of the wonderful parks and animals as we all cultural events. They took care of all arrangements for our Gorilla tracking, which was amazing. On the way back, he suggested we stay at Lake Bunyonyi ECO Resort which was just gorgeous. During the entire time Sam made sure we were taken care of, the meals were always delicious and the restaurants high quality. The hotels were very comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and hot water. Great choice of hotels, lodging and food. Thank you Sam and Muleni Safaris!

I just had the most amazing experience! While in Uganda, Sam helped us to book a trip to Bwindi park to see the gorillas. On our way back we visit the people from the forest and spent the night at lake Bunyonyi. Breath taken!!! Sam is amazing and definitely part of the experience, knowledgeable and he took very good care of us. I am looking forward to go back with my family

Four of us spent 7 days in Rwanda and Uganda with Sam as our guide and Mansour as our driver. It was a great trip. The planning stage took quite a while, with suggested itineraries, and then changes to the itinerary happening multiple times. Sam was very good in accommodating schedules and resources to accommodate all of our plans. When we met Sam and Mansour in Rwanda, they picked us up at the Kilgali airport and gave a brief tour of Kilgali as we went through in on our way to the Volcanoes National Park area. We had a problem at the first lodge, where we had an unexpected large bill at checkout, and their credit card machine wasn't working, and they wanted cash. Not having enough, we were stuck. But Sam said he could pay it, and we could pay him back when we got to an ATM. Thanks again, Sam. For the gorilla trekking part of our trip in Uganda, we had chosen Muleni Safaris because they provide gorilla trekking for handicapped people. My companion doesn't walk well, and she really wanted to see the gorillas, so a handicap trek was arranged. 12 porters carried her, while a 13th cut branches, vines, and small trees to clear a path for the porters. Everything went smoothly, and she had the experience of a lifetime. The rest of the trip was memorable, too, with Sam adjusting to on-the-fly itinerary changes, (a night safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and a ride through the middle of a controlled burn there, come immediately to mind), and making sure our accommodations were always close to the main lodge. Mansour gets great credit for all the really long and hard driving he had to do on bad (and sometimes terrible) dirt roads, even at night. And he was using a Rwanda vehicle (where they drive on the right), for the whole trip, so he was driving on the "wrong" side of the road in Uganda. Back in Kilgali at the end of our week, we visited the Genocide Memorial. This is a very sobering visit. And Mansour's first-hand knowledge of the genocide was truly sobering. And neither Mansour nor Sam complained about all the extra changes (and extra work) we gave them. Thank You. We would do another trip with Muleni Safaris Uganda anytime.

Our group of 6 spent 10 days in Uganda doing charity work and sightseeing. Sam facilitated many of our outings and was invariably prompt and courteous. His knowledge of the places and people is excellent as several if us born and raised in Uganda could attest to it. I highly recommend Sam and his company.
