Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Africa Nature Trekkers was extremely timely and organized. They paired us with an amazing guide who gave us a gorilla trekking experience that exceeded my expectations. We came with inches of a silverback and got in the middle of two wrestling gorillas. I hoped we would get close but not THAT close. Be sure to bring a snack for the trek, hire a porter to help carry your things (it supports the community and they are a big help), wear hiking shoes/boots and tuck your pants in long socks. Unforgettable experience.

I and my wife did a 3 days Murchison falls holiday during the Easter break of the year 2018. It was a last minute trip but well organized and everything delivered as promised. We enjoyed the trip and saw plenty of wildlife including a visit to the rhino sanctuary.

I and my husband did a 7 days gorilla trip with Africa Nature Trekkers.
This wasn’t our first time in Africa, but for the gorilla trek, we chose them because they offered the trip to see gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda. The email conversations were always on point and they always responded to our very many questions, because we had many questions, since it was our first visit on this side of Africa.
The trip took us to see some wildlife and also to see gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda. I would like to say that despite the fact that we saw gorillas in both countries, this is an activity that I would do again in my life.
The experience is something that I can not explain. Apart from that, the trip was organized well. Our guide Barnabus T was very informative and we enjoyed our trip with him. If you travel with Africa Nature trekkers we recommend you use him. He is the best patient with us and always proud and willing to show us around. I would like to end by thanking everyone at Africa Nature trekkers for organizing one of the best trips we have ever had in our entire life.

I did a 3 days gorilla trek as a single traveler and at first, I thought it would be very expensive since I was traveling alone. I sent emails to a number of local tour operators and Africa Nature trekkers not only provided a low price but were always very fast when it came to answering my questions.
While on safari, I enjoyed my trip and despite the fact that the trip was cheap and the services, and accommodation chosen surpassed my expectations.
I enjoyed my trip and would highly recommend Africa Nature Trekkers.

Three locations, Mburro, Bwindi and QENP, all well planned and efficiently carried out with a very knowledgeable guide. A personal service company.

Some things were good and others not so good!

Edith was great about getting back to us with any questions we asked, but she often didn't have correct information. For example, she told us that all of the lodges would have Wi-FI, and this was not correct. Often the lodges did not even have electricity and operated only on generators so charging electronics and camera batteries had to be done in the main lodge and not in our rooms. Paul, our guide, was very knowledgeable and he took good care of us. He operated on Uganda time, I guess, as he was often fashionably late from the time he indicated that he would pick us up so often he would be 30 minutes late. Some of the lodges did not have screens on the windows, so if you are concerned about a mosquito bite--oh well! We stayed at one particularly horrible place which I would certainly not recommend and this place was Trekkers Tavern! The food was ok and the staff was friendly, but the rooms had no lighting so it was impossible to see in suitcases without a flashlight. The water coming out of the tap was muddy for the first 10 minutes and had no water pressure. The rooms were cold! Very cold, but they put water bottles in our beds and mine leaked and got the bed all wet! The water lines are run across the walkways and you have to step over them. The curtains don't completely cover the windows. So cold and dark! Not a place where I would keep my dog! The road up to Trekkers is long and terrible! Make sure you don't go there! We saw lots of animals and the gorilla trekking was fabulous, so all in all we had a good time, but lodging needs improvement.

Dear D0rcas42,
It is sad to learn that you did not enjoy your trip fully, however I think you posted the review on the wrong forum, or may be you meant to post the Review on Trekkers Tervan or "Terrain Safaris of Kampala."
Please note that African Nature Trekkers has never handled you or even take you on a trip, and we do not use Trekkers Tavern as a facility for our gorilla trekking trips.
Therefore kindly clarify the company that handled your trip.
However am very sure, we did not take you on Tour because our reservations employees are well versed with all the destinations that we sale including Bwindi. And we do not have anyone named Edith in that department.
In future if you need help organizing your Uganda trip, you can contact us.
Regards

Hola! Quisiera cotizar los tours de bwindi para ver a gorilas, para dos personas, a fines de mayo de 2020, y si tienen tour en español.
