I engaged Carol from Gorilla Link Tours to help plan a group tour for 7 of us from Singapore. She is highly responsive throughout the discussion and very professional. The places she recommended for us for lodging turned out to be some of the most amazing places I have stayed in, and at a cost that doesn't bust my budget.
During the trip, Mike was our guide. He is a really safe driver and highly knowledgeable about the animals and birds we saw in our safari.
Our group's itinerary include Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forests National Park and Lake Mburo National Park. We got to see all 5 Big Animals - rhinos, elephants, buffalos, lions and even a leopard, as well as chimpanzees and gorillas. The diversity of wildlife in Uganda is really breathtaking.
All of us have a really fun time, our experiences with the animals leave us with wonderful memories that I am sure will stay with us for a long time to come. And I believe Gorilla Link Tour play a huge part in it - from the planning all the way to execution. If you are still hesitating to engage them, please don't. Going with Gorilla Link Tours will be one of the best travel decision you will make.
Now I am talking with Carol to plan for other trips in Africa. Looking forward to future collaborations!

I can't recommend Gorilla Link Tours highly enough. We origionally booked our safari holiday with Carol, the owner of the company, back in 2019 and after two postponements, due to Covid, managed to take our 19 night trip this month.
Carol remained in contact throughout this time putting in a lot of work each time to reschedule, including our chimp and gorilla permits and even held the price she quoted us from almost three years back. She has been amazing and it was wonderful to meet her at long last.
The trip itself was fabulous: I really can't fault it. All the mid range lodges Carol picked for us were excellent and we had a fantastic driver and knowledgeable guide in Mike throughout the trip. And of course the gorilla and chimpanzee treks were real bucket list experiences, although we saw plenty of other wildlife too. We finished our trip with a few days of luxury at the Wildwater Lodge on an island in the Nile, suggested by Carol, which is a unique destination.
Gorilla Link Tours were very competitively priced compared to other companies we contacted and offers a truly personal and high quality service.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Carol and her entire team are! I was lucky to meet Carol at the beginning of our trip to Uganda as she had helped book our entire trip, and she is a beautiful down-to-earth person who will immediately make you feel like a long lost friend. At the end of our stay we met two of her safari guides, Arshley and Onessmus. These men are two of the most knowledgable guides around and go above and beyond to provide you with an over the top safari experience. I have nothing but love and appreciation for the whole Gorilla Link team in making my first trip to Uganda unforgettable. I will most definitely be back and I would choose Gorilla Link over and over again.

If you are planning your dream safari trip choose no other than Gorilla link Tours! I had always dreamed of visiting Africa since I was a child and finally one day I started planning my trip almost two years in advance. From the very beginning Caroline was so quick to respond to my inquiries and requests. She was in contact with me throughout the whole two years tailoring the trip to exactly as I requested. I could not have ever imagined a better tour operator and upon visiting the beautiful country of Uganda, my family and I were blown away by the hospitality. We met with Caroline at the beginning and the end of our trip which made it even more special. She was exactly as I had imagined her to be..so welcoming and joyful. It felt as if we had known her for years. Our trip also would not have been the same without our amazing tour guide Bob. He was always making sure we had the best experience in everything we did. We could not have been happier! The decision is easy... choose Gorilla link Tours!! I promise you will not be disappointed!

We spent 10 days in Uganda with Gorilla Link Tours and each day we were so glad to have chosen this tour operator.
From the get go, Carol provided us with a tailor-made itinerary that would take us through the South-West of the country and she was full of tips and suggestions. She is incredibly attentive and flexible, we felt looked after from the very beginning until the end.
Carol made a point of meeting us on our first and last day of the journey, to prepare us for the beautiful adventure we were about to embark on and to get a first feedback on it. This was just a proof of her immense care for her clients. On top of that, she is such a warm, open and overall cool lady, meeting her was a treat.
The main reason we picked Gorilla Link Tours is their commitment to responsible and sustainable travel. Indeed, we didn't only experience the main attractions of Uganda, such as the extremely moving Gorilla tracking in Bwindi, the exciting Chimp tracking in Kibale, the rewarding hike on the Rwenzori and the riveting game drives (just to name a few!!). We also had several activities with the local communities, such as the Bigodi swamp tour or meeting the Batwa Pygmies. These activities allowed us to meet inspiring locals, to experience their culture and ways of living and left us with so much food for thought. Gorilla Link Tours' support for the local communities is what truly makes them a special operator worth choosing.
On top of this, each of the stunning lodges we stayed in runs on renewable energy and made a point of providing comfort and luxury in a sustainable way. The food was also outstanding, we already miss the traditional Rolex!
Finally, our driver was Ahmed and he proved to be the most inspiring person of our journey. Caring, welcoming, passionate and with extensive knowledge of all aspects of Uganda, with an exceptionally good eye (he spotted so many animals!) and always with a smile, he truly made our travels through the Pearl of Africa an incredible experience.
We could not possibly recommend Carol and her team enough. Thank you for the beautiful memories you gifted us with, we will see each other again!

Outstanding. Carol not only organised our life long dream safari, she and Richard our guide looked after us and gave us a trip of a lifetime, that exceeded our expectations in every way. We have returned home with a huge number of very special memories, from the animals, birds, scenery, people, accommodation….
Richard our guide was extremely knowledgeable, a pleasure to spend time with, professional and keen to ensure we had the best trip, we were sad to say good bye.
The accommodation Carol booked was out of this world and offered the same varied experience that reflected Uganda itself, and each lodge welcomed us and mirrored Carol & Richard’s professionalism and care.
If you are looking to go on Safari I can’t recommend Uganda highly enough, and if you go to Uganda get in touch with Carol and you will be in the hands of someone who wants to ensure you have an experience of a lifetime!

A group of eight of us used Gorilla Link for a two week safari in Uganda. We all had a fantastic time, Uganda and Gorilla Link surpassed our expectations! I started the planning process in 2019 with Carol. Carol never missed an email, responded promptly and was always professional and helpful with my questions. Carol is extremely efficient and is simply the best at what she does. When covid hit in 2020 we had to postpone our trip. Naturally this was nerve racking, for we had already made deposits and we had no idea about the solvency of Gorilla Link or the conditions in Africa would be. Carol rebooked everything for us, stayed in close contact and reassured us everything would work out. We finally made it to Uganda in October 2021 and wow, what a fantastic trip! Everything from the logistics, wildlife, food and lodging was perfect! Our guides Richard and Bob were the best, so friendly and personable, safe and really went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. We were always amazed how they could spot wildlife from so far away. Carol’s Gorilla Link is simply the best and Uganda exceeded our expectations for friendly people, wildlife, birding, scenery and diversity. I would highly recommend Gorilla Link and visiting Uganda.

My husband and I had an amazing trip to Uganda, Rwanda and Zanzibar through Gorilla Link Tours and would highly recommend them and Richard our driver. Carol and I had a lot of email correspondence before the trip organizing the itinerary, the accommodation and suggested activities and every question that I had (and there were many) were promptly answered with great knowledge by Carol. She really does know Uganda and Rwanda well and we could not have asked for a better person to organise this trip.
From the time that we arrived and were met by Richard to the time that we had to leave every aspect of our trip was organised with care, professionalism and with our individual needs and wants in mind. Richard is a lovely man, very knowledgeable and a great driver and guide and we could not imagine anyone better to have on this incredible trip.
Uganda is an amazing destination, the primate trekking is one of the best experiences that we have ever had and Carol and Richard made the experience easy, pleasurable and without any stress.

If you want a knowledgeable and well connected insider to navigate you through the beauty that can be discovered in The Pearl of Africa, Carol Amutuhaire is your best bet. Carol has been running Gorilla Link Tours for a solid five years now and she makes the most of that experience when she manages your trip. I have now met most of the safari guides and drivers that she regularly works with and they are all well educated local Ugandans. This trip, we worked with Richard and Ezra and they were both personable and full of great tales and travel sensibilities to help us get to the places we needed to go. We spent most of our time with Richard and I would gladly have him host us again. We felt the we were completely pampered by the lodges that Carol chose for us, especially Four Gorillas Lodge. This was an experience to which I can easily give my highest level of praise.

We had a fabulous safari in February 2020.
Caroline and Richard (our excellent guide/driver) made it into an outstanding experience. Starting in Entebbe we spent 11 days visiting 5 different parks (Murchinson Falls, Kibale, Queen Elisabeth northern and Ishasha sector and Gahinga).
We have been on African Safaris 6 times before, but never in Uganda. The landscape was varied, green and very beautiful, the lodges where excellent, people were very friendly and we saw all the animals we had hoped for. Caroline was excellent in leading us to the right lodges and very helpful before and during our safari and Richard was a joy to be with. Our Land-cruiser was always full of laughs and we enjoyed learning from Richard about Ugandan ways while riding in the car.
We are glad we chose Gahinga instead of Bwindi for the Gorilla tracking. The lodge was walking distance from the starting point for the tracking and it took us only one hour to find a playful family of 10 gorillas.
The only negative was the quality of the roads. It seems that the whole Ugandan road -infrastructure is under construction. The parts that are finished are excellent, but a large portion of the road network is not quite there yet. But - we survived, thanks to Richard.
We chose to go back to Europe from Kigali which was a good choice. The short transfer to the capital of Rwanda was on paved and comfortable roads. A great thank you also to Edison, our guide to Kigali, for making it a great last day of our visit to Uganda/Rwanda.
