My husband and I wanted to trek the Gorillas and I researched online for the best company to deal with. Kazinga Tours stood out for me as the best because their response to my emails were immediate. They gave me three levels... budget wise. The agent that communicated with me was Sarah and she was brilliant. When we arrived in Uganda she came with our guide to greet us and outline our trip. It was like meeting an old friend as we had been emailing for over six months. I would highly recommend this company for its quality and service. The experience of seeing gorillas in the wild was a once in a life time journey made all the easier by Kazinga and Sarah.

We travelled Uganda with Kazinga Tours from 13th until 28th February 2020. It was an amazing trip with many, many highlights - having seen the mountain gorillas, lions, hippos, a serval cat, hyenas, etc. In fact the most highlight was our guide Walter, who - with his great knowledge - gave us the possibility to have a view on the wildlife, the nature and - even - into the heart of Africa and the wounderful people of Uganda. Walter is an extremely good driver - and although some obstacles had to be overcome - we always felt very safe and comfortable while Walter drove our Toyota Landcruiser. He cares about his guests very much and just is a wounderful guy. We whish that sometime we can travel with him again. All the best for Walter and Kazinga Tours. Silke und Karsten Späth - Germany

Seeing the mountain gorillas has been number one in my wife’s bucket list for years. For our 50th anniversary I surprised her with a trip. We found Kazinga Tours online and I worked with Miriam to set it up. She was great. We made numerous changes along the way and she took care of everything. Our guide Heidy met us at the airport at 1:00 a.m. and drove us to our hotel, which was lovely. After sleeping in and enjoying a nice breakfast, Heidy was there to take care of our bags and take us to the Genocide Museum (a must see-very powerful) and then to Volcano National Park and our lovely lodge. Heidy is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with. The lodge was great and included a delicious dinner and breakfast. Then it was off to visit the gorillas. Heidy knows the guides and was able to set us up with Cally, an excellent guide, and ensure we were assigned a good family of gorillas that were relatively close. The trek was still challenging. You are hiking uphill and through dense brush at 8,000’. Working with the tracker, Cally led us right to the family and they are amazing animals. We got so close, one literally stepped on my chest. (Very gentle) The silverback brushed by us on the trail. WOW! Then, I had a medical emergency and thank goodness Heidy was there. He arranged for a helicopter to the main hospital In Kigali and was with us until I was released. It would have been far more difficult without Heidy. I simply cannot recommend Kazinga Tours, Miriam and Heidy highly enough. They made this the trip of a lifetime.

We are very happy to recommend Kazinga tours. Sarah organised our trip efficiently, all responses to email queries etc. were prompt, and well followed up in a positive and friendly manner, and all changes we requested were made immediately. Eddie, our driver / guide in Rwanda was outstanding in every respect - always on time, a good source of information about all matters, friendly, great sense of humour, and always willing to go the extra mile if we needed it. And a good driver! A great companion on the long drives. We started in Kigali with visits to the genocide memorial and other sites before travelling to Nyungwe forest and then on to Volcanoes National Park. Monkey, chimp and gorilla tracking were on the itinerary, and all were achieved - gorilla experience superb. Rwanda is doing a huge amount to conserve and protect them, and the population is increasing. Gorilla tracking is well organised, and well worth it! Our thanks to Kazinga tours for making sure our trip was an unforgettable experience :)

Together with my father I made a 12 days trip in Uganda. It was really amazing. It could not have been better also thanks to our wonderful guide Abel. He is a very very good driver, he knows a lot about the mammals but also about birds, this was very pleasant for my father who is a birder. Everything was arranged very good and always on time. Abel is also very good company and in for a joke. We had a wonderful time and I will definitely comeback to Uganda!!
