A pleasant afternoon climbing the hill to the temple and wandering round the well kept gardens. Very friendly and informative guide told us all about the Baha'i faith. Families are welcome to visit the grounds and eat small snacks, but no large scale picnics. Silence...More

Perfect environment for worship. Breathe taking relaxation. Perfect for a retreat. Adventurous scenery.

As its now impossible to find green areas inside Kampala this is a welcome refuge just 10 minutes away, with nice gardens and interesting architecture it is a good place to read and walk.

This was worth a visit. The leaders are very kind and do not try to change your religion, rather, they are happy to show you their beautiful place of worship. It was a quick and nice learning experience.

It has a good design and it's gardens are so cool. The guide will give you an analytical story about the background of the Baha'is I recommend for mostly research travellers

If you love walking, then the grounds here will provide the best opportunity for you to take the walk. Its a hill so you basically take a mini hike

The Bahai Temple is located on the outskirts of Kampala but not far. The temple is beautiful historic structure built in the 60s but is a really well mantaIned and must visit location. The gardens are sprawling and beautiful. A great half day out.

Boda-boda (motorbike taxi) is the quickest way to go. Many of the drivers, though, may not know where it is. Just wait and find one who does. Or you can speak with locals and find out which Matatu (taxi) goes in that... More
