Very disappointed with Munda Wanga; the botanical gardens are in ruins, the cafe is closed, and worst of all was the condition of the animals! I would not go back to this place and advise others to stay away.

Munda Wanga was a very nice park in the not-too-distant past, when it was under private ownership. Beautiful grounds, and very well layed-out animal enclosures. Somehow or another the Zambian government now runs the park, and it has suffered accordingly - no funding. The enclosures...More

A desperate and dilapidated sanctuary in Chilanga 15km South of Lusaka. The once ornate structures placed in the botanical "gardens" had fallen into disrepair, strewn with litter and neglected. There is even a swimming pool with an impressive slide , again like the children's playground,...More

We went to the environmental parc and some cages were empty and the cages with animals were badly maintained. The staff was friendly but we didn't like some cages and the state of the animals in it.

Sadly, the park has seen better days. There are several enclosures that are abandoned and empty. The park also has very poor information signs. Most cages aren't marked so you don't know what you're looking at, and some that are are marked incorrectly. I chuckled...More

Fascinating though small zoo with beautiful botanic gardens that give you a cool breeze and nice shade as you relax on the soft lawns.

Hi,haven't been of late but budget something like a ZMW100 for Locals and a ZMW150 for Non Residents. I know you'll pay less the amount i've stated but better budget as advised.
