Don't miss take a photograph of this Chorten on the way to Sakyamuni Buddha. And Photo can be taken from the high road where cars are parked and you don't need to enter the complex.

It's a busy place, mostly popular among the locals. View is nice and ambience is quite peaceful. It's about 10 mins ride off the main town, you can walk up here as well. Get a real feel of Thimphu here

The structures and grounds are nice, but there is nothing extraordinary about them. The main interest of this Chorten is observing the elderly people praying and interacting with one another in a peaceful spirit.

I think it is open all days unless there is some visit by vips. Thimpu is a small city , this particular monument can be seen without any planning.
