Compared to many libraries, this is not that huge. We are told majority of the collection is in Sanskrit which majority can not even read. The biggest attraction is the world’ biggest book certified by Guinness. J Ganesh

We saw the National Libray. It had good collection of books and well stacked. Of course, we did not see many scholars using the facility. It is a nice place to visit. .

Stopped into the National Library for a visit. There were a number of old historical photos framed on the walls which were interesting. Go upstairs to see the impressive historical prayer book collection behind glass cases.

It is not a typical library you would expect in Europe. Most books are for monks and the whole library is totally differerent than european libraries. As well you can find the largest published book in the library. Definitely worth to see.
