Overview
Annapurna Region is the most popular trekking region of Nepal and rightly so. It is arguably the most panoramically gifted regions of Nepal and it takes something really specially to be able to be called this in the land of Mt. Everest. Located northwards of Pokhara, Annapurna Panorama Trek takes you through the Annapurna massif with splendid views of Manaslu, Lamjung, Dhaulagari, the Annapurnas as well as many other Tibetan mountains.

Annapurna Panorama Trek is a fairly easy trek. The trails are not much physically demanding when compared to other trails in the Himalayas and the trek will be completed in less than two weeks itself. That does not lessen the fun and excitement of trekking though. Thus, Annapurna panorama trek best suits you if you are planning to have as much Himalayan adventure as possible in whatever short time you have available.

In October Chet Bhatta of Nepal Vision organized a trek and tour of Bhutan for 4 of us.It was super time. Everything that was promised was delivered. When planning the trip, there were many questions which Chet responded to promptly. We had about 4 1/2 days of touring around Paro and Thimbu with a guide and private van and driver. In between we had a 9 day trek in the Jomolhari region. It was spectacular. There was a guide, cook, assistant cook, helper, pony man and 12 mules carrying our gear. After the 3rd day we did not see any other trekkers, only nomads and villagers. Our guide, Thai, who was with us throughout, was excellent. This is the second custom trek that Nepal Vision has organized for me, and I am looking forward to having Chet organize another trek. I recommend Nepal Vision and Chet to those who want a unique experience and a custom trek and tour. Thanks so much Chet.

Beautiful trek, 23 days walking, organized by Nepal Vision Treks at our own request. A route that the organization had never carried out before. Bale was our guide and he was really great. The rest of the crew came from Dolpo. It was a special experience to walk in this remote region. It requires a good preparation from everyone, from both the organization and the participants. As far as we are concerned, we succeeded quite well.

Nepal Visions came highly recommended through a friend that had used their services last year in that same region and I could not have been more pleased. From my initial contact with Chet months before our group of six arrived in Kathmandu, he was always responsive and left me feeling that we were in experienced hands. This feeling was confirmed from the moment we arrived and reaffirmed throughout our 15 days in Nepal. Our guide Kim, with 15+ years experience, was terrific and his made sure that we were always comfortable with the pace, our accommodations and everything in between. Kim’s experience made sure we had success hiking up to Tilicho Lake and Throng La Pass. In addition to the scheduled itinerary, Kim took us through numerous villages along the way and always made an extra effort to show and explain the cultural significance and highlights. Kim’s porters were plenty capable, friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The price was very reasonable for our 15 days, the food better than anticipated and the scenery and entire experience was nothing short of amazing. Chet and Kim made out trip a true trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend Nepal Visions to other considering a trekking adventure in Nepal

Great experience - great guide service. The guide we were provided (Kim) spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the area and the local culture. More importantly, he understood how to properly pace our group and acclimatize us in a manner that allowed all of our six-person group (ages 60 to 70) to get up and over the Thorong La Pass (5416 m) without any elevation-related issues. The package we purchased was very reasonably priced and was all-inclusive, so we really had no expenses on the trail other than bottled water, an expense that could be avoided for those willing to sterilze their own drinking water. Lodging was quite adequate and food was way better than I expected. I don't know how the high lodges do so well with their menus when everything has to be carried in by foot or by horse. Much of the original Annapurna Circuit Trail has been converted to a Jeep Road so there will be some vehicles on the road with you. This was not a major detractor for us as there was not a significant amount of traffic. Regardless, be ready to deal with some dust along the way (described as Nepalese Powder by the local guides). I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing the high peaks of the Annapurna Region and would highly recommend this guide service in particular. Couldn't have been happier with the service they provided.

I cannot say enough good things about our Nepal Vision Annapurna Circuit Trek. First let men say the point person in the organization, Chet was super easy to deal with and absolutely honest and sincere in every dealing down to the smallest details. He is an excellent communicator and of course speaks absolutely perfect English. The tour he set up was absolutely amazing. We ere a group of six professional men ranging from 56 to 70 years old, all in excellent states of fitness and very experienced hikers. Having hiked in such places at Torres Del Paine in Patagonia and up Kilimanjaro we know what's what. The tour we did with Nepal Vision was fabulous. We were provide with a spectacular itinerary for our two weeks. We spent two nights in Katmandu, then 12 on the trail including a side trip to Tilicho Lake which was excellent preparation for the Throng La pass. We then spent a night in Pokarah which was fabulous. Our guide Kim was terrific. Very knowledgeable, set an excellent pace, and kept us safe in the more challenging sections of the trail. He also spoke good English. Our porters were also amazing caring for and carrying all our excess equipment. Each and every individual form Nepal Visions was both delightful and professional. I would most certainly use Nepal Visions again for any future trips to Nepal. Could not imagine a better experience!
