Under renovation after severe earthquake damage. This is as on 23rd May, 2016. About 8 kms and around 500 NRS taxi fare from Thamel. Can book a return fare and come back by same cab for a better price

Good ambiance given the noise of the surrounding area. Interesting to watch them rebuild after the earthquake. Try a rooftop bar or restaurant overlooking the Stupa.

Nice place to visit. Peace in mind when you get there. Since lord Buddha always preached non violence I would like to see the people of Nepal follow his path rightfully.

I have not heard of any monastery stay for the Boudhanarth Temple but I am sure there are several forest monastery outside of Kathmandu. I hope you will find one and find your peaceful time of meditation there.

A place to respect the traditions, turn the prayer wheels and pray for your karma. Just do what the Tibetan do and your life might change. A very special place
