, Great people, wonderful meditation sessions, comfortable facilities and friendly staff.Unfortunately, teachings were disappointing, they were very dull, repetitive and at time irrelevant to folks who are simply trying to improve themselves without seeking enlightenment, I honestly think there are much better places to learn...More

Went with a taxi from Thamel which is 600NRP. The monastery is open for visitors from 9am. We were early and there was a very long an intense praying from the monks (we were on a special day) which took a few hours. After this...More

A beautiful and peaceful place, even just walking around its garden and be amazed about the great view over the countryside. Worth visiting.

The monastery is open every day to the public. Their courses and retreats are on a schedule that can be found on their website.

i was at the monastery in sept this year and it was still looking inceedible. we talked to an american that was doing a course there, and i believe the reperations to have come even further by now.
