This place is located at Pandeli – Sarangkot. Hidden from public eye and also on the way to famous Hiking Trail between Khapuadi(Base of Phew Lake) and Sarangkot view top. Previously, when there was no transportation in Sarangkot, lots of foreigners Hike this Trail from Lakeside and goes upto the Sarangkot Viewpointand trail continues to the Naudanda – Kande – Beni. From there you can view the scenery of Phewa Lake and surrounding villages. During the daytime, there is a cool breeze flowing and local people use this place as a resting place & meeting place. From this Park you can see the full view of Phewa Lake, Lakeside area of Pokhara Valley , World Peace Stupa , Greenary Fields and beautiful jungles and surrounding villages. Also it is very best palce to see the Paragliding and Photography.

We went to Sarangkot for sunrise.We decided to hike back to Pokhara and we choose this hiking trail for our hiking. We walked through this place the view are truly stunning huge snowy mountains, beautiful landscapes. The view from pandeli park was truly amazing.
Best hiking trail and park.

I am local of Sarangkot, Padeli and when I was child many of the foreigners used to come to this very old trekking route where there was no any transportation system to Sarangkot, Pokhara. But now, due to the easy availability of transportation this great hiking route very close to Lakeside, Pokhara is in a verge of extinction.
I would like to recommend all my foreigner friends and Nepali friends to trek this beautiful route which is just 1.5 hrs climb. On the middle way you will reach the "Pandeli Park" and you can see this beautiful scene and full view of Sarangkot from this public park and entry is free. Get some good cameras where you can snap some great photos during your trip and try to communicate with locals they will reply your questions with a beautiful smile. This is how you can travel locally.
This is one of my best things to do list in Pokhara and you can't imagine how fresh air you can feel 24/7 and 365 days.

Even I have taken plenty photos of snow mountain in other places, when I reached the said park, I realised that is the best place to view the snow mountain. I also see plenty people gliding around

The view from Sarangkot is so beautiful. It is worth getting up very early and the climb to see it. Seeing the sun rise over the mountains especially Fish Tails is so beautiful.

many thanks for your kind review to this beautiful public park. Yes true this is a heaven place seeing the sunrise and full view of Phewa Lake. Also from there you can hike around 30 mins to get top of Sarangkot view point and see the beautiful sunrise.

Best place to go for adventure sports! Paragliding is best over there.All the companies have pilots here. rent is 6500 rupees for 30Minutes flying in air.

HI, Thanks for your kind review , actually this is the best place to view the paragliding over the sky and different moves from the pilot .Also, you can say hi to the paragliders while they are flying. This is not the actual place where paragliding take off .You have to walk 25 minutes uphill from here to get the paragliding take off point.
Hope you had enjoyed the stay over there.

Its for those who love to para glide... the view from the top is beautiful as one can see the river below. The operation is only possible with acceptable winds & weather.
