Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did the 2 day Lower Seti River trip with Paddle Nepal. It was a wonderful trip for a young family - exciting but not too scary for young kids. Paddle Nepal were excellent. They organised everything very professionally - good communication beforehand on what to expect, what to bring, etc. The river guides were skilled and made us feel safe. They provided great meals and good transport to and from the river.

We spent 2 days on the river in November 2007. We drove from Pokhara and put in for about 6 hrs. total on the river. We spent the night at the tented camp owned by Kerr & Downey, which was delightful. The rafting was fun - some rapids, but nothing really scary or hair-raising. There were about 8 rapids that were quite exciting and the rest was fairly fast current. We didn't have to paddle all the time, so it was relaxing to watch the banks. The scenery is breathtaking, with tall hills on both sides, jungle, and isolated homes and villages. Very beautiful.

We booked a full day rafting excursion through Extreme River down the lower Seti River and it was life changing. You must must must try this. My husband and I met wonderful people, and saw more things than words would express. Please do not leave Pokhara without rafting down the Seti.

We enjoyed our rafting activities here. Our rafting company was very professional in what they do. Overall a safe and enjoyable activity for the adventurous type. Beautiful unspoiled 'white' river from the annapurna mountains.

Amazingly, at certain points the river appears hardly two meters wide. But its depth is quite beyond imagination over 20 meters! provides a perfect view of the river's dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by its powerful flow.

This isn’t much to write home about, but it’s still worth ten minutes to walk over the river and see how deep down into the rock it goes. Quite enjoyed it.

If you don't have enough time, you can skip this. The river itself is beautiful but it lacks of maintenance, full of rubbish which thrown from the passersby in the nearby bridge. And the authority doesn't care to clean it.

The Seti khola literally means the "white river" in Nepali. The water in the river indeed appears distinctly white because of the particles suspended in it.
The river forms deep gorges in Pokhara valley. The sight and sound of white waters flowing way down below you in a deep narrow gorge are truly unforgettable.
If you have time, take a mountain flight on Nepal Avia Club's ultralight aircraft and see the Seti river winding down its way through Pokhara valley. The flight to Annapurna circus to see the source of Seti river provides some of the best views of the Himalayas in the world.
