Great place to visit and feel peace in your body, mind and spirit and recharge all of them. You will find a number of meditation centers to sharpen your mind and further increase your level of consciousness.

The hike was great, but the peace pagoda was average. Just one building that you can't go into, and there isnt much more to do at the top. Worth the hike, but look into other things to do in Pokhara first

The stoopa (Temple) is on a top of a hill. You can either take a car which is quicker, or you can choose to hike (which includes a boat ride). It's best to go here in the morning (before 1o) or the evening as there is np shade. You can see a magnificent view of the city from the top.... More

Wow, after an hour climbing coming from a boat ride from the lake. It was pretty exhausting. But thankfully along the way there are some shelters you can stop and sit in the shadows as well! After about a 225meter climb you'll reach this place, a really beautifully white stupa. And a view over pohkara... Just wow. Don't forget to... More

Its a lovely temple with an interesting history. Worth the time to see. There are a few restaurants beside the temple if you head up in the morning or afternoon then you can plan to stop and share a meal or a cup of coffee. There is a great view of the lake and Pokhara from the temple!

We had limited time in Pokhara before our trekking trip so we chose to hire a taxi to take us to Peace Temple. It cost us NPR 1500 for the 30 minute ride + 1 hr waiting and another 30 minute back. Its an easy steps to get to the top. Unfortunately the weather was so hazy that afternoon we... More

The temple is on a beautiful hill overlooking Pokhara, the lake, and, on clear day, the Annapurna Himalayan range, so that view itself is worth a look. There are a few ways to get here: 1) Hire a boat from the main part of the lake (Lakeside) to cross the river to a hiking spot, from there it takes 45... More

Great views, but go early before the hordes of tourists arrive. The walk up from lakeside via damside is wortht he effort, mutiple routes availabe, ask locals, they will point you to the path.
