From our beautiful home on the banks of Lake Fewa you can get up close and personal with some of Nepal's native birds of prey. Learn the basic fundamentals of handling and training a bird of prey and how to make and use the equipment. You'll then get the chance to exercise our birds out in the flying field.

All ages welcome. Perfect if you're looking for something to fill a morning in Pokhara plus it's a great opportunity to get some memorable photographs. A breathtaking experience and a first in Nepal!

We opted just for the Bird of Prey Experience and loved every second of it. We had a surprisingly good amount of hands on time with the hawks and vultures and the staff proved to be extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their organization. While we did not opt for the parahawking, we got to see a great amount of the... More

We had a morning learning about the birds (black kites and Egyptian vultures) Kat was great at teaching us about the basics of handling birds and to actually get to call a black kite to feed from my glove was awesome. Finding more about the vultures and the crisis situation in Asia was informative and yet worrying. It's great to... More

A truly one-of-a-kind experience. We stayed here for four nights and figured we should give this a go and I'm so happy we did! Kat was amazing and taught us so much about each of the birds during our 2+ hour time. It was so much fun to have them fly and land on your arm! They are remarkable animals... More

I really enjoyed my time during the Birds of Prey experience. It was so amazing to be that close to the birds. Having a hawk land on my hand and holding a vulture for a while are things that I absolutely won´t forget. Thank you! Also they support a very important project, rescuing the vultures in Nepal. I´m very glad... More

We were not expecting or looking to find a high class falconry experience in Pokhara but courtesy of the knowledgeable and funny shimmied and Scott that is exactly what we did find. A wonderful morning for our two oldest, 12 and 11, and really interesting for parents too. Flying the two kites, extraordinarily well adapted predators throughout South Asia, and... More

My boyfriend and I decided to do the falconry experience right after our morning parahawking experience (paragliding with birds of prey). I have to say, as cool as Parahawking undeniably was, the afternoon falconry session almost topped it in my opinion. Jimmy, the bird trainer, is clearly super passionate and knowledgable about birds of prey and conservation efforts in Nepal... More

Had a superb morning doing the falconry course yesterday. Extremely interesting and informative. Danny was incredibly knowledgeable and had a real passion for what he does. Loved the experience and would highly recommend this in conjunction with the parahawking (remember to book in advance). Fantastic and memorable day out! Thank you.

Great experience and great people. Very interesting, it was nice to learn about falconry from passionated animals lovers and to get close from these beautiful creatures and share a unique moment with the animals. (Recommended to do it before parahawking to have a better knowledge and contact with them.)

Amazing experience run by a professional crew, quite a surreal experience feeding a bird of prey mid air. Definitely worth the experience! The falconry session was amazing. You really get a taste for the incredible amount of hard work that goes into the care for and training of a vulture.
