National Taiwan Nornal University is known as "Shr Da." "Normal" means that it is a university that educates teachers. the campus is quite pleasant. There is a saying "Shr Da meio mei nyu," which means "Shr Da has no pretty girls." Pay a visit and make up your own mind.

It was built in 1922 when Taiwan was still colonized by Japan, so it's buildings are so traditional that you couldn't resist to watch and touch the wall more.

I studied here at the mandarin language school for a year. They're one of the most renowned Chinese language school in the country and hundreds of foreigners come here to study Chinese yearly. The campus is strategically located near Yongkang Street where a lot of good food is found. The infamous Shida night market is just a stones throw away... More

It's a university that used to educate teacher to be, but now it's open to everyone. They have excellent Chinese program for international students. It's a national school so there are a few buildings that are very traditional and well preserved, but the school itself is rather small. It's most famous for the night market next to the school, however... More

Went to use the University library here and everybody was very helpful. I love looking round also and I'm beautiful place. Well worth visiting.
