The guides (Ross and Stu) had us well looked after always, but made sure we could still live and breath the adventure. It sounds obvious now, but through hard climbs through deep snow and breath-taking icy slopes, and treacherous descents, they never got in the way of the essence of the journey: 'this is your adventure'. They were as knowledgeable... More

Wuliaojian is a short hike (639m at it's highest) but nonetheless challenging for its many steep ascents and rope climbs. Ross our guide from Taiwan Adventures made this hike a breeze. Candid and professional, it was an absolute pleasure hiking with our guide from Taiwan Adventures!

We (7 guys) climbed Snow Mountain (雪山) with Ross and Stu during late Feb. The scenery was absolutely breath taking and the climb was a lot of fun and a great challenge. From before the trip Ross was in regular contact with us and helped us prepare; giving us tips on appropriate gear and keeping us in the loop regarding... More

From the airport pick up, camping, hiking, summiting and the trip back to Taipei these guys nailed it. Professional, friendly and very experienced. Ross and Stu made the entire experience unforgettable. We were the only team to summit on the day and it was all because of the knowledge and timing. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 7 guys who were eager to ascent Snow Mountain during winter time. Ross and Stu organised an amazing trip for the group: accommodation (camping + cabin), food and winter gears (crampons, helmet, poles) were provided. These guys have been climbing Snow Mountain over and over (61 times now for Ross, please help him to reach... More

Taiwan Adventures were flawless from start to finish. From preparations, the professionalism, the hike itself, these guys knew what they were doing. So much so that we were the only group to summit during the first time it snowed in Snow Mountain for the season. The scenes were AMAZING, like a movie set, so surreal. This is in contrast to... I've been on a few trips with Taiwan Adventures, and the guys are always well-prepared, professional, and good company. I've self-organized a couple of high-mountain trips in Taiwan, but it's so much easier and also ultimately less expensive to go with Taiwan Adventures. I definitely recommend them.

'Ross the Boss' was such an easy going guy who spent the day guiding/show us some beautiful views. It was always safety first, followed by some hilarious stories! Would definitely recommend him. Mary and I will be back for sure! Xxx

Magnificent view of snow mountain to the last cabin. There were less know at the summit but very cold and without clearing. Stu, especially Ross are great guides with excellent service. For guests living in tropical countries, I suggest you do the hike around February to experience thicker snow and cherry blossoms at Waling Farm.
