I had been to a night market in Kaosing once and there was only food mainly . Raohe night market is near to the songshan mrt . So take a train and just walk down. There are variety of food options through out the street along with some shopping options . Worth a visit

First time visited the Raohe Street Night Market during Christmas, very crowded with tourists, number of local food stalls, if you are a foodie, these night markets are worth to you.

We visited this street market during Chinese New Year and it very crowded with tourists from mainland china. But even for the rest of the year, I can imagine this place to be very busy with foodies. Number of food stalls lined across a street offering amazing variety from pork buns and grilled pork slices to fried chicken to delicious... More

We went here because it was so close to our Airbnb They have all the fun local foods you want to try right here. We had oysters10 for 100TWD which is about $3US. Fresh and yummy. They are in the front of the market on the right as you enter with a nice little place to sit and eat them... More

Very crowded area with food stalls all over the place. The smell of food will cling to your shirt, so be prepared to clean it thoroughly when you get back

You can find the famous pepper beef biscuit (胡椒饼), grilled tamagoyaki on stick (玉子烧)and other delish taiwanese street food here. Love it that the smell of stinky tofu is not so apparent here (unlike tonghua and shilin night markets). Very near Songshan MRT station exit 5 (5 minutes' walk).

I believe most people would say Shilin is the best night market in Taipei, but Raohe is by far my favorite. It may be smaller than Shilin, but this little street packs a ton of food and shopping. It's a 600-700m street lined with stalls in the center, and on its sides, so you basically just walk (and eat) one... More

Raohe is a buzzing, frenetic yet peaceful and orderly night market. It was packed full of people. After all, it was Chinese New Year ! Now, the food options are endless. Some odd, some strange, some tasty, some just weird but absolutely fantastic. There's standard Taipei fare as well. The sights and smells are just as interesting. A concoction of... More

Another one of Taipei's walking "feasts." On my journey to the Raohe Night Market I ate: Baked Pork Bun Chinese sausage on a stick Rolled "popiah" rice noodle with filling Pork Noodles Watermelon juice Everything was great and cost between $1-2 US dollars. The market is a true feast for all senses but can get a bit crowded. Don't miss... More
