We wandered through the canals of Bangkok on a water limousine by Supatra Boat
This 2 hour journey through the canals of Chao Pharaya river is an incredible experience. It started through the river and then we entered the canals. People of Bangkok still stay in the houses located through the canals. The crew and guide of Supatra Boat is super helpful, always smiling and are always ready at your service. Throughout the tour, they will provide you plenty of cold water and cold towels to beat the heat of Bangkok. We made three stops along the route. One at an old temple, 2nd at a local market and 3rd at a beautiful green cafe.
We spotted many Monitor Lizards as long as 1.5 m throughout our journey and it was a delight for us and the family to saw such giant creatures.
We think this trip through the oldest parts of Bangkok, is a must do, to know the heritage and history of the place better. We loved the way Supatra Boat service organised this tour.

We had a lovely and interesting boat ride on the river and canals in Bangkok. We saw places we would never have seen otherwise, including 1.5 meter monitor lizards sunning themselves.

The crew couldn't have been more helpful and lifted me on and off the boat. they provided copious amounts of water and towards the end of the trip, as it was getting hotter and hotter, very welcome cold towels.

Highly recommended!

Took a river taxi in front of IconSiam towards wat arun temple.

Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan or Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok Yai district of Bangkok, Thailand, usaully described as old Thailand district along Chao Phraya River.

The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruṇa, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun.

On the way, we passed by the ROYAL THAI NAVY HQ., River city and a local pier with boarwalks and resto bars.

Booked a 2 hour river and canal cruise as per friend recommendation. The company confirmed the trip within 24 hrs and I went on the "water limousine" boat from Tha Maharaj pier which was a very nice small outdoor mall. My 2 kids loved it - they even provided life jackets for children and complimentary refreshments cool drinks on board.

We paid 1,200 baht additional fee for the English speaking guide who was very helpful in showing us around and telling us about the rich histories of the river. We made 2 stops at Wat Arun (which was very hot!) and at the royal barge museum. Highly recommended!

Really like Supatra boat tour, we spent hours with Taling Chan Canal market and Baan Silapin, the artist house. Magnificent view and performance there. If you are in Bangkok, should not miss unseen place like travel back to 1960 time. Love it and recommend.
