I have lived in Bangkok for a number of years now and this is definitely the best place for a truly relaxing and memorable experience ! The atmosphere they have created is extremely tranquil which is amazing given it is situated right in the heart of Bangkok. Everything from the slippers and water they give you when you walk in,... We came to this place finding it on the internet after we went to a place inside Terminal21 mall but was full, we called and quickly made a booking for 1 hour foot massage. To our pleasant surprise this is one of the best spas we've been to in Bangkok. It is a small premium to those street side foot... More

Great place for ultimate relaxation! I went there for a Thai massage. The masseuse is skillful and professional. The place is spotlessly clean. The location can't be better. Better than the spas at five star hotels.

I've been traveling through SE Asia for a few months now and I dread when I need when it's time for me to get my monthly wax because despite good reviews some times it's just not as good as it is at home. Luckily for me I was in Bangkok this month and was fortunate enough to read about Urban... More

My tour guide recommended this spa and it was very, very good. Clean and of course inexpensive but the staff at reception was a bit rude. Also, I definitely think the woman who did my massage was laughing at me for being squeamish. Be prepared for it to hurt but it feels great when you are done!

We tried the Four hands aroma therapy for 1 hour session as we need to get to the airport for our flight back to SG. It cost 3000 baht for 2 of us but it is worth it. I would highly recommend to people who might be looking for a different experience with 2 masseuses working on 1 pax.

Urban Retreat has been my choice of spa for a good massage whenever I visit Bangkok. However, I have noticed that price has been increasing over the last 4 years. Do not mind paying for it if it comes with better service and good masseurs. My most recent visit last week was really disappointing. The masseurs assigned to me and... More

Booked their 2hr Oriental Package during my trip to Bangkok, and the experience was simply excellent! Reception at the Asok branch was professional and efficient; all staff encountered were able to communicate in English too. Had my feet cleansed before the massage, bottled water, clean clothes to change into, and lockers within the rooms to keep my valuables. It was... More

I had one hour free from work so decided to drop by for a massage at Urban retreat Promphong branch. First time here. the receptionist was not professional talking to a customer - not very polite and asked for upfront payment (which is ok but the way she said it wasn't pleasant at all) so I paid 1,000 baht for... Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
