Conveniently located, clean and well organised. The price of the train tickets is unbelievable. You won't get the comfy seats and air con but trains are clean and reliable. Lots of people selling stuff. We did not meet any other westerner on our trip. It...More

Took a train from hua hin to bangkok. Hualampong is still rustic and with its own crowd. No change since i visited it 3 years ago.

Besides Mo Chit for coaches, this is another great venue to catch a train to major Thai destinations. The air con works fine, there is free wifi and Black Canyon coffee. They even provide reps who speak English and roam around trying to help.

relatively small and quite train station. Well organized, easy to find your way around. Train tickets for overnight trains are best booked in advance. the area around the station is totally ok, unlike some train stations in europe.

The station itself is fine with a fair range of places to get food and you can also have a shower. But the Left Luggage office staff were outrageously charging people more than the prices advertised on the sign. We had two suitcases (less than...More

Unless you're traveling first class, you'll probably end up sitting on the floor in the station. It does has shops with a decent selection of snacks (prepackaged), t-shirt vending machines (if your luggage is lost), and some scary looking restaurants. Just outside there are better...More

You can go by MRT to Hualampong MRT station. The building is next to MRT exit stair. Just come inside and you can buy ticket at locket in your left side to many destinations. You can get good photos from this place.

Black Canyon also for a coffee and pastry just above it. Also there is a market inside station for beverages and snacks.

Yes there is one. As you enter from the waiting hall through the doors to where the trains arrive, it's on your right straight ahead. They have comfortable seating, coffee, water juices...etc.
