We are a Canadian-run tailor based in downtown Bangkok offering a true bespoke experience with fully bespoke, half canvas suits at competitive prices. We’re obsessive about quality, which is why we offer in-house production quality-controlled at every stage and authentic European fabrics from world-class mills. Our flagship store is located in a beautiful town house on Sukhumvit Soi 8, away from Bangkok’s noise.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Situated in an old wooden house, which has its own attractions, and easy to find but at the end of a long lane if you have arrived at Nana BTS station (see their website for full directions) and the heat can be uncomfortable – cold water (or a cold beer) on arrival is welcome. I walked in and was greeted by Khun Cha who politely asked me if I had an appointment and I explained the emails with his colleague but it was obvious by the look on his face that he had no idea what I was talking about. This was quickly sorted out, I explained exactly what I was looking for and materials for a light grey suit were produced, with me choosing one by VBC and the initial measuring followed. One has a choice of a ‘basic’ material, good mills such as VBC, as well as high end such as Holland and Sherry. All very straightforward, efficient and business-like with no pressure to buy and more. As it was a 3-piece suit, his colleague, Joakim, a very pleasant man, for some reason, sorted out the waistcoat and the 2 shirts I also ordered. Joakim later gave me a tour at my request. Like many, many other businesses, Tailor On Ten is still trying to recover from covid though I was told that covid did at least force nearly all the cowboy/rip-off tailors to go out of business, and confirmed by a second tailor I visited.
A first fitting was arranged for 48 hours later (they ask for 48 hours to the first fitting) and I then went off to Chiang Rai. A second fitting on my return required minor alterations and the suit and shirts were ready at the third fitting a couple of days later. The fittings are done by Khun Cha, who listens to what you have to say and will make his own suggestions. The end results made me very happy, a well-made, bespoke suit and a couple of shirts at a reasonable cost for the high quality of the materials and tailoring (thank you to the actual suit tailor, Nik – they have their own tailors). This was not my first bespoke suit though my first one in Thailand.
I feel that they could improve their selection for shirts; their selection is quite wide but a few other tailors have an even wider selection and detailed research about tailors via TripAdvisor showed me what was available. I took my son to a cheaper (but still well reviewed) tailor for his shirts and had a couple of shirts made for myself because I could not find what I wanted at Tailor On Ten but the quality of material and tailoring was not as good as Tailor On Ten and you get what you pay for. It would also be helpful if emails are dealt with in a timely manner……..
Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending Tailor On ten and would be happy to return for another suit and/or shirts, so thank you Khun Cha. Perhaps one day I will be able to afford a dinner jacket in dark blue mohair by Holland and Sherry as worn by James Bond which Khun Cha rated so highly.

My new shirts arrived in the mail recently, having ordered online. While the buttons and fabric are fine, the collar is not as deep as a classic business shirt and the cuffs are very tight, as are the forearms. I have washed the shirts once, on a standard wash and not tumbled dry - just air dried- but the adhesive for the collar is blistering, which is something I have never seen until a shirt is near the end of its life. This is a real disappointment and not what the website indicates for their attention to quality.

Tailor on Ten delivered pants and a waistcoat. The craftmanship was excellent. The items were tailored under adverse conditions although you would think I was there getting multiple fittings based on the results. All the items were ordered online and coordinated via email and telephone. The items received exceeded my expectations. The only negative comments would have to be about my amateurish design ability. The Tailor on Ten Team so far has performed admirably.

Tailor on Ten remains that best tailoring experience I have ever had.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely competent.
I recently had a Harris Tweed blazer made, the fit and finish is quite simply perfect, as are the smaller details such as lining, buttons, contrasting button holes, stitching, piping and monogram.
Looking forward to my next visit.

From my recent personal experience, their high level of maintenance for their service and clothes remains despite the challenges during the pandemic.I was very impressed.
I managed to secure an appointment, the week before Xmas since like many people during the pandemic, I had put on weight and needed new shirts and trousers.
I was handled by Shah and I booked a second fitting in the middle of January but brought forward the appointment to the first week of January due to the risk of another lockdown in Bangkok.Fortunately, the team at Tailor On Ten could accomodate me and the clothes were perfect at the second fitting.
I actually thought the fit and cut was even better than before but it could also be that it had been a long time since I got new tailored clothes so just appreciated their quality and service more.I will definitely go back again. A brilliant experience.

It was an absolute pleasure working with the attentive staff at Tailor On Ten last year, particularly with Joakim, and I couldn't recommend them any more enthusiastically, if you are looking for bespoke perfection at a great price. A couple weeks of 4 or 5 return visits for measurements and adjustments resulted in some truly quality threads that fit like a glove. A year later now, they have become a second skin and holding up remarkably well. I plan to be back the next time I come through Bangkok to materialize some ideas their craftsmanship has inspired since.

I had been looking for good tailors, but wasn't totally happy with what I had found. Tailor on Ten turned out to be what I really was looking for. Their craftsmanship is fantastic, and they were not pushing for me to pile on with more orders, they just wanted to give me exactly what I was looking for.

Since I don’t know when I’ll be back in Bangkok, I put in an on-line order for five shirts. I’m a regular customer so they have my measurements. The website is well laid out, as always there is a huge selection of fabrics, and designing is very easy.
The shirts arrived today and look absolutely fantastic! Because I’m still self-isolating I’ve mostly been wearing t-shirts, but I’ll wear the new Tailor on Ten shirts now.
If they don’t have your measurements, shoot them an email and maybe there’s a way to easily get dimensions figured out. If you have been a customer in the past, why not put in an order now?

From the first time I stepped into Tailor on Ten I knew I was in good hands. Whilst you can to many places in Bangkok and have a suite made in 24hrs, these guys are all about quality and doing it in a timely manner. Good things take time and there is a reason. The only suits that I wear that I have my colleagues comment on are my TOT suits.
5 suits and numerous shirts later, I am still a fan, could not recommend them highly enough.

What are the price range to make a suit

Our prices start at 15,500 THB for a suit ($500 USD approx) - a jacket and a pair of pants. Our prices are found on our price page on our website.
Our suits are 100 % bespoke. You pick your fabric and details and we cut that very piece of fabric, our tailors draw an individual pattern for you and cut and stitch it all together. The very definition of bespoke. What Wasa B is incorrectly referring to is our construction technique which is a world class finish, but not quite at the level of Saville Row in England! Construction and "bespoke" should not be confused! Hope this clarifies things.

I realize the price will vary BUT what is the starting price for a custom wool suit there?
We will be in Bangkok 3 nights. Our schedule is tight but my husband wants custom clothing.

I’m not sure of suit prices, but shirts were mid range for custom made and v good quality.
3 nights is tight so make an appointment for when you arrive and let them know your departure time so they can expedite. They need 3 fitting sessions (this is common) and anyone who doesn’t is likely poorer quality.
It’s worth the effort and they’re a great bunch.

Yes we do! We make a lot of overcoats for winter. We stock a big range of warm wool winter fabrics perfect for winter overcoats. We also have a beautiful and unique set of Harris Tweed ( hand woven Scottish woollen fabrics) that are perfect.

Other than to increase revenue, why do you have a minimum order of 2 shirts? Does this mean that if I only want 1 shirt, Tailor on Ten can't help?

Thanks for your question. We are a busy shop and have a huge variety of fabrics, options and details to go through. We have a skilled and personalized team that will offer one on one service throughout this process. We are a busy shop servicing many local businessmen, diplomats, and tourists alike and we pride ourselves on the level of service and quality we provide. In order for us to be able to offer this level of service and quality we need to be able to make a minimum sale in order to make it viable for us as a business. The time required to take an order for one shirt or three is very similar. I hope this makes it clear and we'd love to see you in the shop sometime.

I apologise but we are a men’s only tailor. We decided to focus on our strengths and only do menswear. Good luck in your search. For a men’s suit in January we would require at least 4 full working days not including Sunday for completion. (We would need more time for multiple suits.) Hi, you aswer in FAQs on your website that you do not offer full canvased jackets. I suppose you offer half canvased instead, am i wrong ? or floating, fused ?

An update to your question. We are now pleased to be offering a true half canvas construction for all of our jackets- our lapels, collars and half chest are canvassed. Our patterns (and suits)are completely bespoke, cut for each individual client. Our prices are fixed and have not changed despite this upgrade.
