We cannot fault any part of the class, it was a fantastic experience from the get go. They started by picking us up from the train station, it was easy to get to. On arrival they supplied us with drinks and talked us though the itinerary. The cooking school was clean and very well set up. We took a market... More

We booked this class online for me and my husband with ease. Different days have different food so look online to see what days suit you. We chose a day were we made green curry and chicken and cashew nuts. Booking was easy, as were the directions to the station where staff were waiting to take us the few blocks... More

My wife and I were here in early February and had the best time. The staff were very friendly and there was a lot of information provided about Thai traditions on eating and cooking food. The trip to the market was great as well. Once we started cooking the instructor was very helpful and was with us every step of... More

A well planned menu with very good instructions, clean equipment; offers hands-on learning of most of the dishes.

I've been to at least 10 different cooking schools in Bangkok. Sompong is easily the best given their insanely cheap price point. 1000 baht. Not only do you get a four-course meal, but an excellent cook book to take home. Those two things alone equal 500baht in value. Wonderful staff and facilities. I've done this class three times now. I... More

This was already my second time joining the class. And I loved it. Really nice team and super delicious dishes. They teach a different set of dishes each day so its actually also woth coming more than once. This time I took my friends and they also loved it!

This was by far the best cooking class I ever had. The teachers were fun and really made us feel at easy. They explain everything so well that you do feel very secure when preparing the ingredients and cooking. I loved the walk to the market where you get to understand what the different ingredients are. The school itself is... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
