Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just opposite the Millennium Hilton and the Icon Siam Mall this is a nice little change to the usual Bangkok tourist programme. It features changing art exhibitions and is popular with young Thais. You can cross the river to there with the free Icon Siam shuttle..or with a few cents with the ferry left of the Millennium Hilton

This mall main traffic come from tourists going to cruise piers. It’s very busy in the cruise departure and arrival time on ground floor.
Other floors there’re some shops selling arts and antiques.
Last time I visited this mall was the time I went to dinner on Chao Phraya Princess cruise and it’s very very busy.

A modern, clean mall that specializes in antiques, artwork and souvenirs.
It doesn't seem to appeal to many people and is often nearly empty, but I like it.
Many shops have interesting stuff in their windows, and sometimes there are exhibitions here.
Good views of the river from here, plus the free shuttle ferry to Icon Siam leaves from here.

It was nice to be able to see various galleries. You can watch this for free? I wondered if I had come in without paying the entrance fee.
In particular, I will never forget the time I spent playing on canvas at the cafe on the first floor.
The interior is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice.

River city is a place that can be easily traveled to. By taking the train motorcycle for hire Or it could be taking a boat across the river. Suitable for people who like art because this is a place where various exhibitions are gathered. and there is a drawing activity Pleasing people who like art There are many restaurants to choose from. especially There is also a pork pan shop next to the Chao Phraya River. I really like the atmosphere there. Overall, this place is considered good. If possible, I would like everyone to try and visit it at least once.

We have not been at River City since 2 decades, finally we visited it in March, I had the urge to visit it since weeks. A lot has changed, during my former visits there were mostly antique shops and a few restaurants, antiques and souvenir shops are still there but now there are galleries, and exhibitions too. Our visit was successful, a beautiful reclining marble Buddha was waiting for me.

Often the visit has tickled a little, it may be that it changes a little over the years. From being a collection point for antiques and to some extent souvenirs, it has now changed a bit more guise more towards gallery and design. Now also a connecring point with Icon on the other side of the river.

I went to see the sights. The weather on the river in Thailand is cool and the view is very pretty, but it rained the day I went. There is a beautiful temple next to the river and the Thai food nearby is delicious. I was very impressed with the sight.

We took the river cruise and stopped at River City mall. We enjoyed drinks and snacks at VivaAviv, a charming riverside cafe. We shopped and found the most interesting items at Darlene. The gentleman who runs the shop was so helpful and charming! We bought a few unique teak items, returning a second time because we found nothing to compare at other shops around town. Not only is the merchandise unique, lovely, and often quirky, but the shopkeeper is the most gracious man I believe I've ever met. After giving us wonderful deals on quality merchandise, he chased us down to a taxi stand to make sure we received a promotional gift the mall was offering. This was simply the beginning. It was pouring down rain, and no taxis were available. He tried to order us one by the concierge at the mall, but when that didn't pan out, he walked us over to the hotel next door, explaining to the doorman what we needed, and he stayed with us the entire time we waited, making sure we were taken care of. He expected nothing in return, he was happy to serve us. Where in the world do you find people like this? He was absolutely charming and could not have done more for us. Patronize his store! His merchandise has been written about in magazines, and it is well worth your while to go - if even to meet him! Most wonderful experience!!!
