We were in Bangkok for 2 mid-week days only so we booked a trip to this floating market from a street vendor. The journey to this market was 1.5hrs north of the city. The mini van driver was incredibly rude on the way. We were met b a tour guide at the market who advised us we could buy a... More

Total scam don't do it!!!! Hotel say it's good. Used a taxi charged 100 bht took 1 1/2 hrs to get there sit you down at a table 400 bht (90) quid to go on a boat. Stalls on river selling expensive souvenirs you can get cheaper elsewhere. Do something better with your time and money! !!!

The market is a traditional Thai experience, I would see it. There are fruit stands and dinky little shops.

Taxi ride 2000, boat ride 1800, it was not that tally waste of our money as kids enjoyed. But it was not specially at all and it is completely tourist attraction. I will not go back again.

I can think of better ways to spend your time, let alone money. Make sure you have a driver, as you do not want to be stranded, as no taxis nearby. I hired my own driver - which was worth it, as he suggested the Train Market (a must) and that was way better than this place. Here is my... More

The river water is filthier than all of Nana plaza! You could catch an alphabet's worth of hepatitis if any of it splashed into your mouth - anything and everything is thrown into this waterway (plastics, Styrofoam, oil, food leftovers) Overpriced boat fee and overpriced everything else. It's also extremely difficult to avoid buying anything since the guy operating the... More
