The temple is about 15 mins walk from Itsaraphap metro station. The entry fee is about 100bht and you must be dressed modestly. I would recommend going early before tour groups arrive and before it gets too hot as it will give you enough time to wander and enjoy the views.

Very nice place to check out. There are many temples in Bangkok to view, this one by the river has some differences. Cheap to get to and from, can access from the river for a very cheap boat ride. Lots of people taking pictures in traditional Thai clothes, it was nice to see all the history around. …

If you have a Thai drivers' license admission is free. The boat to the other side of the river is 4 baht

Very big temple spread across a very vast area along the lakeside. Overall a good experience and a must visit for people interested in temples or history. If you have very less time in Bangkok then this can be avoided.
