Aside to traditional set-up of foodies, market stalls, and many others - the warehouse section that houses the rare 60s and vintage vehicles, industrial lights, household items are to die for. Vintage lovers will be awed, amazed maybe - but short of time to patrol around surely. A good advice to arrive early as it's quite a distant from city... More

We went to the train market to have dinner. It is a great place to try lots of different local foods for very reasonable prices (there weren't many tourists when we went, so prices are probably good for local standards). There is so much choice, everyone can pick and choose what they want, which is good if you are with... More

I knew the old train market close to Chatuchak Market but it was removed already more than year ago and never had the chance to visit. So we did yesterday. The market opens at 17:00 until 01;00 from Thursdays - Sundays. It was as expected a lovely experience and was because of being there on a Thursday not so crowded... More

Rot Fai Market (Train Market) Authentic open-air bazaar remnants of its vintage concept in the warehouses of antiques and unique customized products. Great food and chill out bars ❤ Many pubs with live band.really great atmosphere and worth a visit

The market is like a train...and a big big train. You'll find a lot of live music bars and too many stalls to buy different cloths/accessories. The food variety is so much that I can't tell you but yes for vagie like me nothing much. One more thing that amazed me was the Lord Ganesh temple in the market, I... More

This is a bit far from center of Bangkok but you can go by taxi or BTS to Udom Suk and little tuktuk/bus from there. I like to go to shop for cheap nice clothes and hang out in the bars and restaurants.

I visited Talad Rot Fai in January 2015 and this is my second visit. The first visit, I felt this market was a good hangout place with many live music bars, with vintage car exhibits, and shop-stalls selling items ranging from antiques to clothes to random knick-knacks. Whilst there were a few tourists, the place was largely a local hangout... More

Called after its former location at a train cemetery, the Train Market consists of a weekend night market 4 nights a week, with regular shops open every day except for Mondays from 4 p.m. until late. The regular shops sell vintage furniture, lamps and collectibles in the front, followed by a covered area with a wide range of new and... More

Many choices of foods can be selected here. The market was packed with young locals but still, I enjoyed my time here. Will comeback to have some nice street foods again!

I can spend hours perusing through all the stands. The prices are very reasonable and I didn't feel the need to bargain for the most part. Great place to find souvenirs and also grab food here.
