The stunning, multi-hued Sky bar at Sirocco has several reasons to turn minutes into timeless moments. Suspended in the sky on the 63rd floor of The Dome at State Tower, the Skybar is one of the world's highest open air bars, overlooking a panoramic view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river. With such an enthralling ambience coupled with a seductive selection of the finest vintages, beverages, cocktails and appetizers in Bangkok, the Skybar soars as one of the prized destinations in the city. No wonder, the rooftop bar is unanimously accepted as the coolest bar in Bangkok.

We went for cocktails and they were lovely, and a fabulous setting. However very expensive, done it once for the experience but too pricey to repeat.

We went at night, which although with no perspective on the daytime view, I'd say was a good idea. Amazing view of the expanse of city lights into the distance. A little crowded and touristy, but to be expected. They sort of shuffle you to...More

We visited the sky bar with the intention of spending the evening there. Once we arrived in the bar, 3 waiters proceeded to hassle us until we ordered a drink even though we were busy taking photos. Anyway, the drinks menu arrived.. we ordered 2...More

While the view was great from Sky Bar, I would recommend avoiding and checking out one of the other rooftop bars in Bangkok. This place is highly overrated. First of all, the dress code policy is ridiculous. I think they are in business with the...More

We tried to give it a go in our first night in Bangkok but my friends couldn't go inside because they had shorts and sandals. Fine! But in this country is roasting, what do they expect? In our last night we went inside already with...More

After all I've read on the Sky Bar's quality I had low expectations in the cocktails they serve. But I was surprised: Of course, 710 Baht for a Mojito is an astronomously high price for a cocktail. But at least it was tasty. If you...More

I thought they were shooting an Asian advert for taking selfies when I arrived here. Packed, loud, expensive rip off and they herd the people from the entrance to the lift, then they herd you from the lift to their choice of where you will...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop

Take the Skytrain and than tuktuk/taxi or walking. Traffic is crazy in Bangkok and only the trains are fast and reliable at rush hour.
