knowing that this place has improved a lot and planned a trip there. One day before, already checked on the web no reservation required for the planetarium, can purchase ticket at the counter. Took a long trip there, upon arrival, found that all the shows on that day are full. When we told the staff we travel a long way here, they just commented that many people also travel long way here, so meaning, you're just unlucky !

We started at the Planetarium as we arrived just in time for the 10am show in English (Tuesdays) It was excellent and my wife and daughter loved it too. Then we went on to the science part new ticket but really cheap. Most of the gadgets didn't work but it still had a lot of info to offer. Probably of more interest to younger kids. Also included was the Aquarium which was quite good then across the road for some more exhibits. All in all very good and excellent value for money, worth checking out for something to do. Just a short walk from Ekkamai BTS.

It located next to Ekkamai BTS station so it's too comfortable to go there. It has many activities, interesting players, knowledge , media , exhibition and experiments about science that everyone can enjoy with them so it's suitable for everyone especially kids.Besides, now it's has opened an aquarium.

The museum is a bit old, but compared to when I visited it 6 years ago, it has improved a lot. The planetarium has been renovated and new attractions/experiments were added. Although most info is in thai, a lot of English has been added for the new attractions. Went on a weekday with 2 kids, who enjoyed it a lot and want to come back again one day. Entrance is super cheap, and so it is very worth it. Museum has 4 sections - Planetarium, Science building, Aquarium and Nature Building. Planetarium show, which lasted 45 min which was really wonderful and cool, kids enjoyed a lot. The only English show is on Tuesdays at 10am. We came on a Tuesday, but cause of traffic were late 5 min, and they didn't allow us to enter once it started exactly on time. Come at least 10 min before the time if you want to come for English show. We decided to go for the Thai version at 11 am, and although we could not understand, we understood the planet and star Labels on screen which were in English, so it was OK. The Science building has sections that are really old and need renovations, but some are quite new and fun, with all the english labels and information. The aquarium is super small and not much there, we spent less than 5 min there. The Nature building has 8 floors, highlights include the dinosaur section and the Kids city (for smaller kids under 10), it is like a huge playground with all kinds of play areas, which was the part my kids spent the most time in. There is also a thai canteen over there where we had lunch, cheap but regular canteen food as expected. Drinks and snacks also available for sale. Overall, spent a good 4 hrs at the museum, could potentially spend more time if you read all the information and spend more time in each section, we just went through most of it quickly.
