There is also a food hall and gourmet market, where you can find fresh-from-farm goods as well as an array of Thai and international food. Entertainment-wise, you’ll find the SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, a mega cineplex, and Madame Tussauds Bangkok—great for adults and kids alike. - Wildcat7400Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia1,172 contributionsOne of Bangkok's Best Malls!Siam Paragon, a high-end shopping mall which opens daily from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm is connected to BTS Siam Station which is served by the Sukhumvit & Silom lines making it relatively easy for tourists like myself to travel to it. Officially opened on 9 December 2005 with the highest private investment of USD460 million covering 21 acres, it is the 4th largest mall in Thailand & happens to be my favourite mall in Bangkok for good reason. The Gourmet Market, located on the Ground Floor is the foremost reason! I enjoy buying groceries from it & sampling their promotional food. Their fresh produce & products are definitely fresh & tasty. Although quite steep in price, you can be assured of quality & taste. They also offer traditional Thailand products that are beautifully packed for tourists to bring back home. Honestly, I have not explored the mall. However, I had visited its Gourmet Market & eateries on the Ground Floor, the Sealife Bangkok Ocean World on the Basement Floor & some boutiques on the above floors. In previous years, I had the chance to visit Laduree, an authentic French restaurant. However, I had only bought their popular macarons. My travelling partner & I also had the privilege to visit the Harrods Café to have tea. Boots Pharmacy was a must as it reminded us of our olden days in London. And we caved in to our fast-food cravings at Burger King & enjoyed their fish burger as we didn’t know whether their beef & chicken burgers were halal certified. I found out later that Siam Paragon has 8 floors. The Mezzanine Floor is home to all the international luxury brand names from clothing & bags to watches & jewellery. My favourite boutique, namely Prada is one of them. The 2nd floor is mainly covered by exclusive & supercar showrooms such as Bently, Porsche, Lamborghini & others. The 3rd floor features furniture shops & beauty salons while IT shops are located on the 4th floor. There is also a bowling alley, karaoke rooms & a multiplex cinema on the 5th floor. That will be our next destination in future. Thus, it is easy to see why Siam Paragon is a firm favourite of ours. It has everything under 1 roof. Most importantly, tourists are able to apply for a Tourist Card that can be used to obtain discounts in participating shops in Siam Paragon. We will definitely visit Siam Paragon again & again when in Bangkok. It is a must-stop visit for us & you should not miss the opportunity to do so. Just be prepared to spend as it is not a place for you to haggle.Visited December 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 16 November 2023
- Anna R3 contributionsVery coolVery big shopping Mal with regular events and a sea life, food floor, luxury shopping, co-working spaces and many many more. One of the biggest malls I've ever seen. The food and shopping options vary in selection. One thing that I didn't like about this place that it is easy to loose track of time and it's hard to find an actual exit, since it also has a nice inner open area with some waterfalls, but since malls are designed exactly for that it's the perfect place for luxurious shopaholics!Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 March 2024

The place is quite big and most of the visitors rely on Google maps to locate the location they want to visit. - Jasmine F3 contributionsBig and goodThe Food Hall in Siam Paragon shopping mall is very impressive! Located on the ground floor, it is divided into 3 different zones: Food Hall Food Court, Food Hall Gallery, and Food Hall Take Home. We can find a wide range of local and international dishes there. And the prices can be considered reasonable as it is in one of the luxurious shopping mall in Bangkok.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 May 2024

You can find anything here: eateries, luxury brands, camera stores, high teach store , and I was shocked about the size of the mall. My kids loved the oceanarium in the basement. - Stay542864076191 contributionTraveling to SiamThat day was Saturday, we invited friends to go to Siam Paragon, where we took the bus and then continued on to the skytrain, which was our first time traveling with friends. We made an appointment at 9:00 a.m. and there were 5 of us going. Arriving at around 11 a.m., we walked around and encountered unfamiliar dressing and the chaos of Bangkok. We walked around until about 3 p.m. and then returned. We took the skytrain and then took two buses and sat close to our house. After all, it was raining and getting wet. But luckily, when the car stopped and the rain stopped, we reached home around 5:00 p.m.Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 27 June 2024
- Khalifa ADubai, United Arab Emirates13 contributionsBest Mall in ThailandBest mall in all of Thailand. I love Siam Paragon it is an original mall. Filled with designer stores and shops Siam Paragon has it all. It was really convenient too since it was close to our hotel and it has everything we needed. I loved that it was close to our hotel and its connected to the BTS Siam Station, staff are the friendliest. My favourite part is the entrance on the G Floor, it was so nice and beautiful. The Gourmet Market is the best market it had so many products and it is a must for your next visit to Siam Paragon. A good restaurant in Paragon is MOZZA by Cocotte. Very good food especially since its Halal. Much thanks to Paragon staff and mall.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 13 August 2024
- cakes spaces5 contributionsSiam Paragon is a shopper's paradise! The mall is massive and has a wide range of stores, from luxury brands to more affordable options. The food options is impressive, offering a selection of cuisines that cater to all tastes. The mall is also home to some great attractions, like the aquarium and cinema, making it a fun spot for both shopping and entertainment. However, it can get very crowded, especially on weekends, which can make navigating the mall a bit overwhelming. Despite the crowds, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Bangkok. Overall, a great shopping experience!Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 25 August 2024

You could spend some serious time here window shopping, snacking and checking out attractions/artwork. We spent the afternoon walking around here, going to the sea life ocean world and having some food and tea. Nice clean mall too, but can be slightly overwhelming with how many options of similar items there are in the same area.

As a tourist, my wife and I visited a few top end shopping malls in Bangkok. Siam Paragon came out exceptionally impressive, much superior to the big icons in Bangkok
with regard to the layouts of restaurants, shops, eateries, services on various floors. Easy to move around, spacious and clean to enjoy a day of enjoyment. Located conveniently to public transport, taxi and grab services; traffic jam was properly controlled. A place highly recommended for all tourists and locals.

First day in Bangkok and went for a wander around this much hyped centre. It really is just a shopping centre full of high end retailers and not really as spectacular as others I’ve visited in other parts of Asia (Ion it ain’t!). The one thing which stood out was that in comparing prices on items I’d recently purchased at home in Australia the prices were considerably higher (try an extra $AU200 on a Montblanc wallet, same for same). Don’t expect low prices on designer goods here, that is if you can drag the sales staff away from their phones.

This is a really high-end shopping mall near the Siam BTS station and you can feel it as soon as you enter the mall. Unless you have really deep pockets, you can only eat at the food court. The mall has many luxury stores and gourmet restaurants as well. Tourists can visit the Siam Ocean World which showcases marine life.

When it comes to escaping the hot weather of Siam area, this is your answer. Siam Paragon is a huge mall where you can literally do anything. You want to buy something trendy? Find some good food? Or just casually go to watch a movie. they are all there. Siam Paragon contains every kind of entertainment. If you visit there with your little kids, you still have Siam Ocean World that you can visit. There are always activities in that are. Sometimes concerts occur in this mall too. So I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to come to Bangkok. If you enjoy shopping and living freely, this is the place you're looking for.

Huge tourist shopping mall with reasonably high prices, crowds of tourists but also with a large selection of wide-range as well as luxury brands. Besides shopping, there is a very decent food court where you can taste a huge amount of food from different cuisines of the world.
It also houses an oceanarium (but I recommend visiting it), as well as from Siam Paragon you can get to the Madame Tussauds wax museum (one time you should definitely go). For children there is a large play area, lots of entertainment, cinema, etc.
If there is a free day in Bangkok, it is perfectly possible to spend it in this mall.

A very well managed clean and well organized huge shopping mall. It has maybe @ 5 ~ 6 levels with a huge variety and variable selection of food items. The other levels are full of high end retail shops. Name the brand and you can find a shop here. Make a note of the door number you entered or you may get lost in the huge mall if you lose your orientation.

Siam Paragon and the adjacent Siam Center are good shopping malls in Bangkok. Don’t forget to look out for shops that offer VAT refund for tourists. You need to carry your passport and up a form at the cash counter. Collect all and claim refund at the airport. Food court at Siam Paragon is a bit overcrowded, although there’s a variety of food.

Does anyone know if the tourist discount is able to use in the gucci store?
Written 28 December 2019
Hello, I am not sure of the particular discount vouchers You are referring to. Siam Paragon issue a Siam Paragon Privilege E Voucher which entitles the user to a 5% discount at all outlets within the complex.
You should be aware that any goods sold in Thailand and which are imported from other Countries carry a 60% import duty on clothing and luxury items hence anything Gucci and similar stores have on offer will be considerably more expensive than in U.K. There will
Also be 7% VAT to
Pay.

Use Superrich Exchange when you arrived the Thai airport they offer better rate. Otherwise, you might find other locations in malls but there are lines.

You have different prices, depending on the sit (sofa, vip,...)and 3D / 4d . You can find movies in English not just in thai. It’s a great cinema and experience. Sorry can’t remember the exact price.

Hi, I’ll be visiting the chatachuk market this weekend and I’ve heard of live animals being kept in horrific conditions. I’m extremely sensitive to animal cruelty. Can anyone tell me of a cheap market in Bangkok where no animals are sold?”
Written 11 March 2019
The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a huge outdoor market. It would take the whole two days to explore the whole market. I have not been there for a number of years now. The few times I was there I don’t remember seeing live animals being caged ready for sale.
There are other markets that have sprung up besides Chatuchak. However, it is still the best due to its size in that it’s able to offer a myriad of choices and varieties.
For comfortable shopping in malls, MBK is the better option as generally the offerings made by the traders there are comparatively cheaper to other malls.
Siam Paragon is marketed as a higher end shopping mall, whose trading offerings and brands are similar to any cities in the world.
