Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great little stamp museum with good Thailand collection and examples of modern stamps from around the world. Free entry. Selection of recent Thai stamps and mini sheets for sale at face value. Right by saphan kwai bts Station. Friendly staff

Some reviewers seem to have only made it to the post office on the ground floor you need to go upstairs for the museum

Went recent in first week of Jun 2017. Does not look like a museum but more like a post office. People were busy posting and packing parcels. There was nothing worthy to see. On the 2nd floor, there is a tiny exhibition which consists of boards with pictures and words (something you can google online to view instead). There are no real stamps on exhibition, just images. No indication of anything there. No staff to tell you what happened. Seemed like a deserted museum.
DO NOT waste your time there. :)

With special exhibition this place was worth a visit. Otherwise it was so dry with only few collection items in the shop. The facilities were in poor condition from steep stairs to locked toilets (which half of them were not in a workable condition). Travelled there by BTS was very convenient.

Really they have a great collection. Into collecting stamps then you must visit. It's free. Downstairs will be stamp vendors selling old and new stamps. Actually they have in the museum an area that sells modern stamps. Also has a library sitting room where you can research.

So disappointed as we really wanted to visit this museum (one of us being a collector). We went out of our way to get there only to be rudely told that it was closed, no explanation as to why. The door was open to the first section and lights off so we had a look, but you coul complete it in 5 minutes. Sadly the collections rooms were all closed and nobody around to help. Another failure of musepass (as they had said it was open).

Very nice place, well organised , very friendly staff, convenient opening hours and days ( open during the weekend). A fine place to relax and enjoy the viewing of a lot of interesting stamps. I regularly go there, to buy some stamps from the little stores located on the ground floor

The museum is easily accessible from the Saphan Khwai BTS station. It is a philatelists' "pig heaven". The museum displays from in date-of-issue order all the Thai stamps and some of the varieties . As well, there is a selection of stamps from all over the world. Visitors can use the research library which has plenty of catalogues. Staff are helpful. Recent issues are available for purchase and make for good souvenirs.
