- mariuszs431Warsaw, Poland4 contributionsBest Muai Thai school in BKKThe Trainer was very open and friendly, asked about my previous experience and my expectations. Thus, the whole lesson was adjusted to my needs, level of fitness, and the elements of training that were most important to remember for a longer period. A lot of attention was also put on the position of my legs and arms, and if needed, they were corrected. The small breaks in the training were devoted to breathing and relaxing exercises. The school is located approx 15-20 km from the city centre and it is not easy to reach it in rush hours or on Friday evening. The prices are comparable to other schools in BKK but the variety of lesson options is wider than in competitors. Definitely, once I am in BKK again, I will come back for more training.Visited September 2023Travelled soloWritten 29 September 2023
- Richard Thomas3 contributionsExcellent training campExcellent training camp! Great value for money with fantastic instructors who work to your level. There are experienced students in the class and beginners, all are given time to learn Muay Thai. I trained with my 14 year old son who was given lots of tips from the patience instructors who made our experience perfect!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 October 2023

It is a very good place to start of with Muay Thai training. It provides very good technical training while building up your body. The trainers are looking after you and are trying to teach the things your are not that good at. It is as intense as Muay Thai training should be and the trainers are pushing you exactly the right amount. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anybody who wants to start or wants to improve their technique. If you want to train for your first fight it is also one of the best places you can go to.
The only thing that might be problematic is that except the trainers very few of the locals around can speak English.
Overall it was a very good experience.

Khongsittah Muay Thai is an excellent gym for those looking to improve their Muay Thai skills. The trainers are knowledgeable and dedicated, and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. In particular, I highly recommend Yuen for private one-on-one sessions. He is an outstanding coach who is able to tailor his instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. He is patient and attentive, and his passion for the sport is evident in every session. If you're looking to take your Muay Thai to the next level, Khongsittah Muay Thai is the perfect place to do it, and Yuen is the perfect coach to help you get there.

I originally decided to do only 10 days with their stay and train package but decided to extend a couple more days because it was great fun.
All the trainers were great, knowledgeable and friendly. They treated me as a friend not as a client.
I highly recommend doing a stay and train package and book a couple of private sessions to fine tune your technique.
The lodging that was provided was big, clean and a min away from the gym. Lots of places to eat around that were great and cheap.
Plus I got to meet one of the legends of Muay Thai.

I am 61 years old and a year ago decided to be more active, so started a one-day training at my hometown in Canada. Getting more interested in Muay Thai, I decided to visit Thailand to see how the sport is performed there.
I chose Khongsittha Muay Thai, and I an so happy I did.
The trainers are so good in the sport, so professional, so kind, so polite, and also consider the personal differences in age, fitness, etc.
As much as training was hard on someone my age, as much I enjoyed and wished I could extend my stay.

I had a wonderful session with a young and skilled coach here. I was tired after a long journey, but the coach managed to motivate me to give everything. He showed me fine techniques, footwork and combinations. The session was also varied and included strength and fitness😊👍🏻

The training at Khongsittha was the most exciting and intense experience I have ever had. It has given me a new insight what true discipline means. The trainers are absolutely lovable and I will come back to this gym soon!

It was a good experience over at Khongsittha. However, the distance is a little far from the city area but it does not affect us. I went with a group of friends who are fighter and experienced in Muay Thai, it was not as fun as we expected because it suits more beginner style. If you're looking for a place where trainers will correct your form and do 5 rounds of padwork, this may not be the one for you. Nonetheless, highly recommend for people who are going for the first time!

Bonjour, Pancho.
Written 22 September 2017
Hello,
Please check out Khongsittha's website for more information.
We can provide western boxing lessons but our focus is Muay Thai. To see the schedule of availability, you can check on the website.

Hi
I'm due to train and stay here in February and just wondered if the gym is near terminal 21?
( fancy some retail therapy on my down time )
Written 13 September 2016
Hey Lucy,
I'm Keith, and I work at Khongsittha. It's a 20-30 minute taxi ride from the gym depending on traffic. Not far at all, considering how big Bangkok is! You'll have plenty of time to train and visit the mall. There is also a few large malls near the gym as well, Central Eastville, Central Lardprao, and The Crystal (Crystal Park).
