The part I'm talking about is the food court area on the second floor, with an actual market on the first floor instead (a place to buy fruits and vegetables and such). We go there regularly, to the "Oho Steak" food vendor. The theme isn't...More

I was a bit worried when I was told we were going to a market quite early in the day but I was pleasantly surprised (I suppose the main buyers go earlier) by how quite and clean it was. There were no unpleasant odours, even...More

A welcoming, well organized market with wonderful fruit, vegetables, meat, poultry, and the omnipresent flower garlands. If Bangkok is your starting point in Thailand, known for its colorful markets, this is a good first stop.

This market is located near the Chulalongkorn University. It sells the basic fresh wet market produce as well as dried produce like dried prawns. Besides fresh produce like fruits and vegetables, there are stalls selling Thai desserts and snacks. The prices here seem slightly higher...More

Was impressed to visit this market when I had to buy some mangoes for my mother-in-law earlier in the week. That was why we went again yesterday to buy some food to cook today. Happy to have found such a nice, clean & organized market...More

This is an excellent fresh market with high quality fresh fruits, vegetables, tender and freshest meats and fish. It's more expensive than many other fresh markets in Bangkok but every extra baht spent is worth it.

This is a dedicated market building, which ensures that the produce is kept fresh. The market sells a variety of items from fish and seafood to meat and vegetables, and there is a food court on the first floor. As such, it is similar to...More

This is a great place to see a modern Thai market. People selling the same food and spices and on top of that there is a massive food court and a seafood restaurant. In both, you'll find stuff like massive wannabe American dishes and delicious...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
