- FoodiefunOxfordshire, United Kingdom45 contributionsThe best day!10/10, just brilliant. I highly recommend Mr Korn/his wife. My partner and I booked the ‘elephant care and grand canyon jumping’. Mr Korn really knows the area, the history and the culture so well and speaks fluent English. Very professional too, clear contact regarding the plans, clean car, arrived early and made sure we were supplied with cold water and snacks. Mr Korn explained all about the elephants on the drive to the park, where the locals welcomed him and us. The elephants appeared well loved and cared for, with a big open space to explore with open fresh water. We were able to interact with the elephants in what seemed a happy safe environment, feeding them and giving them a bath to cool off. Best trip we have ever done! Then onto the Grand canyon to swim and kayak across the quarry. Mr Korn took photos for us to capture our day for our scrapbook. We enjoyed our day so much we booked a second trip with Mr Korn, to Doi Inthanon, again just a brilliant day, everything explained and all our needs catered for. Lovely walk in a much cooler climate than the city, beautiful gardens and waterfalls, the day was shaped exactly to our desires.Thank you very much for your support & thank you very much for your nice review. Hopefully we will see you again in Chiangmai. - keeleya_Maidstone, United Kingdom2 contributionsFantastic day!I had an absolutely fantastic and insightful day at the Elephant Sanctuary. Our tour guide Korn is so knowledgeable and passionate about the elephants and their history. A big bonus of the trip was that as a group of 7, we were the only ones at the Sanctuary which gave us the opportunity to spend plenty of time with the elephants without feeling rushed. A lovely Pad Thai lunch was provided and well as fruit and free water. Big thank you again to Korn and the team for a day I will never forget.Thank you very much for your nice review. - GardenerrichSandown, United Kingdom250 contributionsHighly recommended company for individual or group. We went with miss Puang to sticky waterfall as a private group of two. She and her husband korn offer small and large group tours, but we opted for a more personal experience. Very pleased with our trip, and being a private tour, we could choose when and where to visit along the route. Puang is very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about the longneck Karen’s who we visited en route to the waterfalls. The one big advantage is Puang and korn can help with things like ordering food etc. Korn even arranged for my wife to get her hair cut and for us to have traditional sak yants with a monk. We will definitely use them for any trips we plan to take around Chiang Mai when we come back. A really good recommended company.Thank you very much for your support & Thank you very much for your nice review. See you next year. We decided to do the full day tour with 3 activities. First off we hiked up to a waterfall on a small bush track zig zagging across the river various times on bamboo poles tied together and narrow. It was really fantastic adventure not bowing what obstacles were around the corner. Next was the elephants in the wild. Got to feed them, then down to the river with them to wash and scrub them in the river. Last but not least we went white water rafting. Got the adrenaline pumping and it was fun. Would highly recommend the day trip.
Thanks to Mr Big Ping Pong for the great time we had.
PS The driver was good too!

Elephant sanctuary was absolutely stunning! Amazing to see these enormous elephants up close and meet the mahouts who look after them. We were taken by Mr Korn who was so knowledgeable and passionate about elephants that we learnt a lot about elephants. Would recommend to anyone wanting an authentic and unforgettable experience with elephants!

We were lucky enough to go on an elephant sanctuary visit with Mr Korn and what a great experience this was! He has so much useful knowledge about all the local areas, elephants and surrounding areas it really made our visit great. We were lucky enough to be taken to a wonderful sanctuary where there was a baby elephant at the time and was not overrun with tourists so we really got the full experience. If we are ever in the area again, we will be getting back in contact for some more tours! Thanks Mr Korn!

Hello
Looking to visit here in July.
Has anyone booked a private party and would recommend it for 6400 baht. Or is it worth paying the 4900 and going with others.
Thank you
