Reasonable prices for the quality of the books. The selection was fantastic, with every possible genre you can list. Some French and German books also, but mostly English. However, a review to the Lost Book Shop is not complete without a mentioning the owner and...More

We loved this place, they have hundreds of books organized by genre and topic and their upstairs includes a huge “foreign” language section with many books in German, French, Swedish... prices vary but on used books seemed very reasonable, they had bargain bins as well...More

This is probably the best bookstore I’ve ever been to anywhere. Definitely in Asia. It is somewhat focused on travel, which is good as that’s what I like to read. However, they have a lot of everything. Had to force myself to leave with only...More

Great place with many many books. The most difficult thing: decide for 1, 2, 3, ... books are categorized by topic and there are also books I different languages other than English.

Certainly with its sister store Backstreet books the best book store in Chiang Mai, with friendly service, a wide eclectic selection and two central locations. If you enjoy books, you'll have fun browsing.

I know they will buy back any books you have bought from them for half the price you paid, not sure about outside books. But they had a large fiction section.
