We had SO much fun at this group cooking class. Our afternoon started with a market visit, learning more about the local herbs, fruits, and vegetables we were going to cook with. From there, we headed to the BEAUTIFUL cooking school - about 30 minutes outside of the main city of Chiang Mai. Such gorgeous scenery and a beautiful sunset.... More

I can't imagine there is a better cooking school in Chiang Mai. Everything about our experience was spectacular. Our instructor picked our group up in a van and took us to a market to learn about all the different ingredients and explore a bit--it was a real local's market! Then we went to the school which is in a beautiful... More

Very well organised. Authentic pick up. First you go to a market so you get information about the ingredients. At the farm / cookingschool,in a beautiful quiet location, you learn to make a full Thai diner composed of 6 dishes. I didn't know that I can cook Thai but with the good instructions of out cooking teacher I managed to... More

From the intro of the ingredients at the market to the beautiful scenery of the school's location and the truly spectacular chef guiding you through the Thai cooking process, The Best Thai Cookery School lives up to its name as the best in Chiangmai, if not all of Thailand. It is an experience you can't miss. I was a part... More

We were picked up on time. Met the others at the market. You learn about the food at the market but you don't shop yourself. The instructor shops for you. I didn't mind that but some people might. We drove to the school. It is among the rice fields and beside a small lake. Wonderful scenery. They designed the building... More

Our teacher, Ricky, was really good, clearly knew his stuff both in terms of the ingredients and the cooking and was friendly and fun. The class was small and we could individually select the menu, so we all got a more personal experience. And the recipe book we were given is lovely- highly recommended!

Tour started with market tour to describe the ingredients that we would be using before we cooked. Very friendly and informative. The cookery lesson went down a storm. Everything was tasty, learning new of doing things even how to actually avoid peeling a garlic! Amazing no garlicky fingers anymore 😁. Great experience would definitely recommend to do if visiting Chiangmai.

This was something we wanted to do in Thailand but saved it for Chiang Mai as we heard this was the best place and we are so glad we did. Ricky was our guide/cook taking us to the morning market to shop for ingredients. Then drove us to the cookery school which is set 20mins outside Chiang Mai on farm... More
