This is an amazing museum about Chiang Mai's history and culture. It opened in 1999. Their web sit is a bit hi-tech quirky.

This is a great museum to learn about the history of the past and the present of Chiang Mai. It is a must to understand the city better and to have a better understanding of the Lanna culture.

There are 3 museums in close proximity to the Three Kings, all were lovely and very interesting. One ticket covers entry to all museums. Explains the history of Chiang Mai in detail.
