Fun day for the price

Paid 1100 tbh (reg price was 1200) for a full day at the farm. After talking with people who did the half day (for 900tbh) I think a full day was well worth it. The half day did... read more

Paid 1100 tbh (reg price was 1200) for a full day at the farm. After talking with people who did the half day (for 900tbh) I think a full day was well worth it. The half day did not get to cook mango and sticky rice (they were just served it) even though it seemed like they would in the... More

Half an hour late to pick us up at our hotel. Once we got there, the school was well organized. The instructor was very nice & patient. The facility was clean & staffs were very efficient. Everything went well until time to leave. We waited an hour and half to take us back to the hotel. We were supposed to... More

We enjoyed cooking the 6 dishes. The teachers were very friendly and kitchen clean. However we were picked up 30 mins late to goto the class and had to wait 1.5 hours after class for transport to arrive to drive us back to our hotel. We got back to Chiangmai 2 hours after course was done.

We booked the cooking class on the farm and enjoyed it very much! Mac is a very friendly guy and good teacher. He answered every question about the herbs and spices and we learned a lot about preparing Thai food properly. There will definitely be a lot more Thai cuisine on our daily menu in the future! The bike for... More

Fabulous day spent in a small group learning to cook so many Thai classic dishes. Lovely friendly host family escorted us on a local train and round a local market to select some ingredients and then showed us how to make the dishes. Eating them was a lot of fun too as they tasted so good and fresh. Best meal... More

Everything was well organized right from the beginning. The food was delicious and all the people so friendly. After cooking we got a guided tour with the chef through the garden to learn more about thai fruits, vegs and herbs. This was very interesting. The final visit of a local market with all its special and original thai food was... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand! We signed up for the half day cooking class at the owner's farm. The day started with a tour of a local market which allowed us to learn about (and sample) many ingredients we'd be using later in the day. At the owner's farm, we learned how to make... More

Had a blast during the half-day cooking class. The owners are very friendly, speak English very well and are very enthusiastic. We received an English recipe book, including a lot of info on the local ingredients.

Awesome Thai cooking experience! Would recommend the full day for sure! Learnt a lot about the Thai food from Mac and Mel. They were both lovely Thai locals with great English as well! Made many different Thai dishes, all of which we got to choose and then eat ourselves. You won't go hungry that's for sure! Perhaps have a light... More
