Temple not as nice as others in city. View of city good. Getting there hassle and overpriced. Peacefulness hindered by large groups.

The temple itself is beautiful and well worth the bus ride and the 306 steps. It costs 30 baht per person to get in. View of the city is also very pretty. Went just before lunch and it wasn't too crowded. A few food vendors...More

One of the holiest places in Chiang Mai (apparently!) and it was stunning! The road up was great, was a little bit over priced, but otherwise worth it! It was a fantastic experience and very interesting to read about the history of how it came...More

Happy New Year and first of all, congrats to your two lovely children! I think it‘s quite a bit to walk up there. Especially with your children on the back. However, if you are like average sporty, I think you can make it... More

yes, I attended a evening/night tour with pick up at the hostel and tour guide (rather bad English, but very willing and trying to explain many interesting facts). Booked it over a hostel near by, from which I don't remember... More
