One of the best temples in town. The wax figurines look so real ! A small payment is expected. Bring sarong of your own or rent one. No short sleeves and shorts or skirts.

Reverent place. Many worshippers. Monk present for blessings. Serene setting with spaces to sit for mindfulness.

Such beauty and tranquility here. Well worth a visit if you come to Chang Mai. It’s incredible construction as a place of worship incredible and very humbling. The young monks walk freely with pride amongst the crowds going about their everyday lives. Amazing place.

I found this place had a sense of peace, even though there were lots of tourists. The architecture was stunningly beautiful.

Chiangmai has lots of temples and many are impressive. This however is one you will remember a temple which cannot fail to fill you with wonder and humility. Try and pick a quiet time to visit and be patient and the photographs will fall in...More

Not too crowded, and the entry fee was reasonable. Everyone was respectful inside, which made it much better than some big religious "sights" you see elsewhere.

Beautiful temple in the heart of the Old City Chiang Mai. Don't forget to cover up as this as well as many other temples require proper dress. You can rent coverings on site for a 200B deposit.

Yes absolutely. When you enter the Old City through Thae Pae Gate continue straight and you will end up at the temple. All areas within the Old City are completely walkable.
